Bachelorette 15 - Hannah Brown - July 1 - Epi 7 - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

Yeah, it’s pretty small for Fantasy suite... and not very private. I think I found better on Mykonos. JMO

I don't know (yet) where the windmill is but here's my theory on what happens going forward.  I've said it before but think it's still possible now.

The FDs were on Crete.  The MTP and LCDs were on Santorini.  Luke's FD was added in at the last minute on Santorini.

Peter FD:  sailboat on Crete (we have screencap proof it's Daois Cove Resort where she's in the flowered dress.
Tyler FD:  massages on Crete (still haven't id'ed the location thought I've certainly tried!)
Jed FD: on Crete. dinner portion at Elounda Mare Aglia e Olio
Luke FD:  Oia, Santorini (we have screen caps)

I think that the screencap of CH talking to Hannah in that ugly Randi Rahm bathing suit 'gown', is on Crete before the FD RC.  The guy CH is talking about being ready to propose with a ring is Luke (because she cut him at HTD).  She is willing to go on another date with him so they add it in before the MTPs dates (we know Hannah's family was on Santorini).  She sends him home there because he's a jerk.

JMO.

And with no screenccaps, presumably, of the LCDs or MTPs yet....it's hard to sleuth Santorini locations.

Many of the Greek islands have windmills - IIRC they were used to pump water and / or grind grain. The ones on Mykonos were primarily to grind grain but all the ones I visited were sort of open to the public (there's a gift shop in one of them deemed "safe for visitors) - most are closed for safety reasons.

There are windmills on Crete - I rather quickly found this. Similar setup to what's on Santorini in that you can book a stay in an actual windmill:

I couldnt watch the date with Jed. I tried but found everything he said being without emotions. There was NOTHING there in the eyes imo. I believe she was so blinded by the idea of a life with him in Nashville and so charmed by him and his singing to her that she didnt really open up to the other ones. I do think that what she has with Tyler goes much deeper and that she now looking back will realize that.

Since the first 1:1, I found Jed’s date blah but then after knowing what we know now, it’s laced with pure manipulation.

I agree with a few who are already on “Tyler deserves better” train because I’ve been there since she seemed to be going to fight for Jed. We still don’t know if they’re together. The way she kept giving chances to Luke and the way she grilled Tyler, eh, she still needs some growing up to do because the very issues she talked about in her first two relationships are still her issues.  She said she broke up with the perfectly capable guy who almost proposed to her because she’s stuck with the first one who cheated on her.

I don’t need a lot of evidence who she had sex on the windmill and with that guy 2x.  I think it’s Jed (Accdg to someone on Reddit there are windmills in Elounda where Jed’s date was). She said she’s falling in love with him and you can see her face when he’s badly singing to her, she ate all the lies up. Tyler never had a chance so I wouldn’t want him as sloppy thirds.

I almost don’t want him as Bachelor because this franchise manages to ruin every lead. Bring on Mike for Bachelor. It’s about time!

Last night was at times very difficult to watch. It was hard to see Hannah keeping around guys like Luke and Jed, and sending quality guys home.

Jed -- At first I felt revulsion at their 1-on-1 date. Gradually I started to see why she picked him as her F1. They are very companionable with one another. As Hannah said, they laugh together. They have a good chemistry and easy conversation. Hannah looks very relaxed with him.  Those are probably qualities and reasons why she is sticking with him even now. And who knows, maybe he did really fall for her. The problem is, a man who would cheat on his former girlfriend is also more likely than not to cheat on Hannah -- especially since he is a musician with many opportunities to cheat thrown in his path. When the going gets tough (and it will,) Jed will get going.

Tyler -- This date did not have the easy camaraderie that Hannah had with Jed. I felt that the activity of horseback riding (given two inexperienced riders) was unfortunate since it increased the distance between them, instead of bringing them together. I felt for Tyler since my family went through severe financial difficulties as well after my father died. It is a true test of character to find happiness when you have fallen that far in life. I like the way that Tyler picked himself up after that and kept going.

Tyler pointed out that the continual nonsense with Luke prevented Hannah from having extended time with the other guys. Tyler framed this as a detriment to Hannah, but IMO it was even more a detriment to the men. Which brings us to --

Connor S. -- I think that Connor S. was the under-rated gem of the show. Hannah complained that he tended to fade into the background of the group dates. I was thinking, Hannah, you could have had more time with him if you hadn't cancelled quite so many cocktail parties. He was yet another quality guy that became a victim of the Luke nonsense.

Mike -- A sweet guy who could set any date at ease and show her a good time. Hannah had clearly friend-zoned him by this point.

Garrett -- Unfortunately, I think that Garrett was almost never able to show Hannah everything he had to offer due to the Luke drama. Luke would set a trap for him and Garrett had a tendency to walk straight into those traps. Hannah walked into them as well. I think when Hannah was questioning Garrett in last night's episode, instead of responding to her question, he should have just said, "Look, I don't like Luke. No one in the house likes Luke. We haven't made a secret of it. But you will need to get your relationship with Luke figured out on your own. Right now, let's use our time to talk about us."

Peter -- In this episode, Hannah's camaraderie and chemistry with Peter seemed second only to what she had with Jed. She relaxed with Peter and had a great time with him.

Yet I'm not convinced she was still seeing him as a contender at this point. I like how Peter tried his best to stay out of the Luke drama while at the same time, making his feelings about Luke clear.

Luke -- Incapable of staying in his lane even if he has training wheels on his bike. I agree with those who say that Luke was more interested in winning than he was in Hannah. He wasn't even seeing Hannah clearly. Even the rest of the cast members were aware of that.

I couldn’t either. I was actually out still at the grocery store during the first hour so I had to backtrack, but I had to fast forward through Jed’s date because I knew he was just spewing lies to her and she was just falling for them hook line and sinker....bless her.

@Amethyst I agree with what you said about how Tyler worded things with Hannah. I felt that he was trying not to hurt her feelings by saying he was frustrated for her, which I do believe he was, but I also think he mostly frustrated that she was keeping Luke around. I just don’t think he wanted to come out and say, “Look please send that douche hat home!”

That's where my thinking was at after last night's show. Yet he does land up as her F2, so there was obviously something between the two of them. I am going to try to stay open-minded through the next few episodes. But if I had to go by last night's show only, I would have to tell him to steer clear of her.

Hannah is very different around guys like Jed and Pete where she has a high comfort level with them. She is relaxed and happy with them. I wasn't seeing that with Tyler last night, even though he opened up to her very nicely.

I agree. I think they're showing us why she didn't pick Tyler honestly. She fell for the people who would tell her whatever she wanted to hear. Thought it was hilarious how they showed Tyler talking to Jed about manipulation. Sly nod there editors. On one hand, it feels like Tyler has to be F1 due to how much grilling and off that date seemed. On the other, I land on they're just showing us why she picked Jed. Regardless, think I'll be fast forwarding NotTyler from here on it. Just can't stomach it.
