Bachelorette 15 - Hannah Brown - July 1 - Epi 7 - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

I have a theory on why Hannah did the "I'm falling in love with you" so early:  I think Jed flipped the script.

The script says that all the guys are gaga over the lead and competing for her.  Even if most of them sign up for a platform, foreign travel, etc.  So Hannah can just sit there are watch the guys fall all over themselves for her and pick the one she wants.

But--Jed changed that on their first 1 on 1.  By saying he came on for his platform, he did two things.  1.  He got points for honesty (I know I know)…

And 2.  He put the burden on Hannah to win HIM over.  In other words, "Convince me I should fall for you."  

He gave her a teaser by saying that now he was starting to like her--can't remember the exact words.  

So by their second 1 on 1, Hannah had taken the bait.  "This is real; this can work; YOU are the guy I'm after.  It all hit me with the heel-clicking.  (She must be a Wizard of Oz fan.)  Please be all in."  

Sadly for Hannah, this was not what Jed wanted.  And we got that "heart falling into the ground" line from him that was so cringey--and yet so honest.  Poor Hannah was oblivious though.  She was still operating on the original script, where the guys were all supposed to genuinely fawn over her.
