Bachelorette 15 - Hannah Brown - July 1 - Epi 7 - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

Thought the HTD preview gave us lots of insight into Luke. He lives in a bubble - which is OK but he just can't relate to those not in the same place.

From the look on Hannah's face and the look in her eyes when Jed spoke about falling for her would have been the only spoiler I needed to see which one she picked...You can't phone that look in.....Luke hasn't even came close to getting that look.. Sad Jed had to be such a pr*ck....

@mercieme well there is no substance and I didn't say it was substantive . But he knows exactly what to say & when to say it in order to make Hannah feel more secure with him. He just seems more open and he's writing her songs (which aren't great, but still). Tyler comes off a lot more guarded. I think Tyler puts up a shield with women of smoothness to avoid really letting them in (and now we know the reason for that). Outside of that first 1-1, Tyler doesn't really talk about himself and what makes him the way he is, he always makes their conversations about Hannah, which is nice but isn't really conducive to her getting to know him.

Did you notice after Hannah picked up the rose for Tyler she waved it in front of him it a teasing way. That was cute

1st things First.

The WINDMILL theory... my opinion is this: there is no way in Hell, that Hannah had sex in a windmill with Jed. When? where? without producers filming? Come on!  Not happening. And it looks like the location of the nearest windmill to their date is not even open to the public. Really has there been any sex between contestant in daytime? Or before FSD? I don’t think so.

2. There are windmill in Greece and coincidentally we do NOT have a location for Tyler’s dates in Greece. Well, maybe now we know it’s in Mykonos. Or another island that matches.
3. As Hannah is responding to Luke clearly about the FS dates, she is referring to THAT as well, and as he is the last F.S.  she knows that HE KNOWs  who was in the windmill with her...  maybe ...just saying.
We have more windmill to sleuth and big enough to have a room...yes, maybe what  we though was a boat is just a windmill...with TYLER.

P.S. I acknowledge I was wrong about supposing it was Jed on the sailboat, I thought those dates are usually only for F1 and F2... and the brown shirt got me.

@ReneeM I was ok with Hannah grilling Tyler which as I posed above have I seen some former Bettes do the same with their F1s. I just didn’t see anything that Jed had shared so far to make Hannah be all in with him. Hence why still believe she fell for him because he represented the idea she crafted for her F1, looking forward to how she explains her thinking re Jed at AFTR.

I love Mike and really do want him as the bachelor. You can tell he knew and you could tell Hannah was having a tough time doing it but they felt more like friends. You could tell the Connor break up was coming.

Really Luke I won't name names but here are 3 names. Glad Garrett said what I believe all of them feel about Luke to her but you could tell she didn't like that neither did she like Luke saying things about Jed. Also Luke gave Garrett such a fake answer. He is a child with the yelling and food throwing. Also the lying Hannah didn't ask he brought it up. 

I just feel nothing with Hannah and Peter and I still feel like I don't know enough about him and I just don't really want to see him as the lead. Also all she really said about him was that he was a nice break from the drama, really not a ringing endorsement. All jmo.

Ugh. I totally agree about Jed being such a smooth operator. It was hard enough knowing Hannah fell for him, but even worse seeing him actually gaming the situation, and coaxing that “I love you” out of her by asking her to open up. That man is a smooth operator, and it’s so uncomfortable to watch. I get it though. It’s easy to pull all this off when you aren’t being your true self. I can see that all of these fake platitudes - the “true confession” for why he was on the show, the songs, the early ILY all got to Hannah quickly and immediately put him ahead of the pact. It’s really sad to watch though, because yeah, we know nothing about Jed. Nothing.

Similarly, we know nothing about Peter. He’s a pilot and his mom was a former pageant winner. That’s all I got.

On the converse, and this is what is really sad, of all the men this season, I feel like we have the most genuine picture of who Tyler is. And why do we know these things? Because he’s taking his time, being genuine and really getting to a place each time where he feels like he can really open up to Hannah. So far we know his dad was really sick just before going on the show, and he had to be the one to sign away his rights. Now we learn his family lost everting in 2008 during the financial crisis (making Tyler 14/15 yo), eventually leading to his parent’s divorce. So now it makes sense why Tyler as the oldest child of his single dad was the one signing away his medical rights. We learned how this has impacted his life and his views on marriage. I feel like we are starting to get a pretty detailed picture of Tyler, and it’s impressive to me he is able to be so vulnerable and real with Hannah about really hard and personal topics. It’s also impressive to me that we’ve learned all this with relatively little screen time. Tyler moments are more quality than quantity. It does make me sad that Hannah doesn’t seem to recognize how much this man really is putting himself out there for her. I have to think watching it back, she must see all this and feel full of regrets.


ETA: And I’m sorry for my novel. But for someone who supposedly just had the physical connection/edit, they sure did edit out all the physical chemistry with Hannah/Tyler today. Like all those cute pictures of them kissing during the day portion? Gone. Really the focus here was on Hannah pushing for (and ultimately getting) an emotional connection. Which flies in the face of “he was just hot and smooth, nbd. It was all about the sex.” I just don’t buy that narrative based on what I’m seeing play out.

Hannah loved Luke's confession and story about his faith. He already had the rose but that got him to FS, imo. I just can't believe that they hadn't talked about sex before marriage before fs. I just don't know how that was possible. Garrett opened up way to late for her and the other 4 surpassed him. Garrett was great in his goodbye. 

Can't help they added in that convo Tyler had about Luke being manipulated with Jed on purpose after the rumors. I loved the hug between Tyler and Peter. 

Hate that she is clearly falling for Jed because I now find him so manipulative as well after all the stories about him. I just don't know what to say anymore after seeing her fall for Luke and Jed. All jmho.

I can't stomach watching both Jed and Luke. Both are the same but at least Luke is so outward with his manipulation compared to Jed who is underhanded.

These two men are disgusting and I really want to understand from Hannah how she was foiled by these two!! She needs to explain what she saw that we didn't see.
