And Sportsbet claim they "don't play minds games"?  Uh huh, sure you don't.   Urrggghh I hate them so much.

Because Sportsbet suck, IMO.     

But they don't play mind games!  Oh no, not Sportsbet.  They are a wonderful organisation.  Just minding their own business, trying to get people addicted to gambling.  Quoting myself from the SM page to keep all my thoughts in one place:

Also I just noticed that the hair/age/state markets are all back.  They usually close once the fill list of names is released.  So looks like Sportsbet are trying to milk as much money from this season as they can, possibly to cover the Chelsea losses. 

I haven’t been paying attention. So Sportsbet are saying Chelsea by the hair/state/age combo. Why do people think she is not the F1?

No, we think she probably is the F1, we’re just annoyed that Sportsbet emailed out a press release pre season saying that it was probably her, and we thought that she was a bit too visible in the pre season promotions for an F1 because the last couple of years the F1 has been a bit more hidden because we’d forgotten about Snez and Alex being all over the promos for their season. Mostly we just want Sportsbet to be wrong, but they probably aren’t

Yeah Sportsbet spoiled Chelsea as F1 by emailing a Mamamia blogger, then came here and basically told us we were idiots who couldn't interpret betting data correctly, that Chelsea is F1 whether we choose to believe it or not, and they’ll be back in 3 months to gloat.

I still don't know why they would voluntarily lose money by leaking the winner and guaranteeing punters a sure thing but I've come to the conclusion they just see entertainment betting as small fry and a way to get people roped into more lucrative (for them) markets.

The thing that doesn’t sit well is that TPTB worked so hard to hide the girls this year, and they sued the DM when they spoiled Sam/Sash, so why aren’t they sueing Sportsbet or Mamamia for emailing and publishing the likely winner? 

But I do agree that it’s a way to get money off of people who wouldn’t normally bet, and if it’s not easy to pull out it either just sits there in Sportsbets coffeers, or gets frittered away on other markets, meaning that the house still wins.

@Dirty Street Pie I suspect it's probably an "if you can't beat them, join them" situation. 

TPTB also took the paps to court when they got pics of Laura & Elise at the FRC.  This season we didn't get a single pic of Chelsea with Matt.  Not ONE!  TPTB probably bought the lot, IMO. It'd be cheaper in the long run to do that than pay legal fees every season.

And Sportsbet's email to Mamamia actually named "dodgy producers" as a source.  So they are admitting they are in cahoots, which hasn't happened before.  Usually they play dumb and act like they're actually watching the show and basing the odds on that. 

One thing I'm sure of is Sportsbet MUST be making money out of this somewhere along the line, otherwise why bother to email bloggers and troll spoiler sites?  Maybe it's all a combined marketing campaign for the show and Sportsbet, and TPTB sanctioned the leak.

With the full list of odds out at least it's clear now Chelsea is F1 beyond doubt IMO.  There's no way Kristen's getting up for the win from those odds and the other girls we're expecting to be in the Top 4 are so low down they aren't even visible in my screenshot.
