Look it's just so lovely that they've decided they don't want to make money this season. How very sporting of them.
Now everyone trust the nice Sportsbet man and run off to place your $137 bets on Chelsea. It's not like their entire business is based on trying to encourage people to place wagers or anything. I'm sure he just enjoys handing out free $100 cheques.

Either someone is getting off on being a troll or Chelsie is 100% NOT F1... why would Sportsbet "leak" the winner and encourage people to bet on her. Maybe they are feeling very generous and feel like losing $

Yes @Bachbee, that's right, Sportsbet is basically a charity, didn't you know? :halo:

Here are a few of my favourites:
You remember that time Ali totally chose an intruder or no one at the end? Yep that's right! Thank goodness Sportsbet "tipped us off".
Source
And remember that time when we were on the EDGE OF OUR SEATS waiting to see whether Badger chose Britt or Sophie? Sportsbet assured us that Britt was totes the favourite; how can she lose?!
I'm sure they had NO IDEA he actually chose no one (even though they promptly arranged refunds the next day). Oh yeah and there was that "picks no one" option they had for like 12 hours, but we'll just ignore that.
It's just so funny that we here on the board noticed in EPISODE 1 that there was something weird with the odds (no clear winner and high max bets for all) and yet they themselves had no idea.
Source
And one last favourite, when Sportsbet assured us that Sophie was surely going to hit it off with one of the 18 men - yep, count them, 18, don't even think about waiting to see if there's going to be any intruders! 18 it is, yep, 18. Hurry - bet NOW!

So you will have to forgive me if I remain *skeptical* of today's "spoiler".

Reader’s Digest Australia Trusted People 2014 survey results
Rounding up the bottom five were Melbourne medico Geoffrey Edelsten, online bookmaker Tom Waterhouse and the always controversial Kyle Sandilands.

Maybe we could ask Kyle who wins. He would seem to be the only person less trustworthy than an online bookie representative at this point.

The Bachelor Australia 2017 winner odds: ‘Serious concern’ over TV betting
IT’S one of the biggest TV events of the year — and the ending we all want to know: Who will Matty J choose in the final rose ceremony on The Bachelor?
The top secret finale of the upcoming Channel Ten dating show was hit earlier this week by the news that a package of photos and information claiming to reveal the two finalists involved in the finale as well as the top four contestants was being shopped around.
While it’s not known if the cache has been purchased, news.com.au understands several betting agencies had expressed interest in the goods on offer.
Among the information the agency says it has on offer are the names of the top two finalists and photos of them arriving at the finale location and waiting on the set. Also included are the locations, dates and photos from the final four home visits as well as the names of the girls involved.
This has raised serious concern from the industry regulator in New South Wales and a legal expert, who questioned the “flawed” system of betting on the show.
MISLEADING AND DECEPTIVE
“In this particular context, if you’re a betting agency and you’ve got hold of this sort of information ... then there’s really a question mark associated with the integrity of the event both in the relationship with customers — who expect everything to be equal,” Jamie Nettleton, gambling law partner at Addisons told news.com.au.
“It’s not like talking about a horse’s performance — you can always judge that when you know from your own skill something that clearly might affect its performance, as compared to, if you know the outcome, it’s a different matter.”
Mr Nettleton said it’s not a problem for agencies to buy information to make sure they’re properly informed — but it becomes an issue when the information reveals an actual outcome. He said an agency acquiring such information could be seen as “misleading and deceptive” by customers.
When asked by news.com.au, several of Australia’s biggest betting agencies — including Sportsbet, Tabcorp and William Hill — denied approaching the seller of the exclusive photos and information.
Asked about the prospect of a competing agency purchasing the information, a spokesman for Sportsbet added: “I can categorically say that that is not a party Sportsbet would want any part of or engage with. Hopefully no other bookmaker would consider such a move and for that matter any media organisation either.”
It’s common for betting agencies to offer punters the chance to bet on the winner of both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.
Sportsbet already has markets open for the upcoming series — offering punters the opportunity to bet on the hair colour of the winning contestant and what state she’s from. Other agencies open similar markets throughout the series.
While the top secret package of information doesn’t reveal the overall winner of the show, it claims to discloses the two women who make it into the finale and wipes out a bunch of potential results.
IT’S COMPLETELY FLAWED
Mr Nettleton questioned how sensible it is for an agency to buy the information, saying “there’s immediate questions about the integrity of the betting”.
“Who else already knows the outcome or has insider information that may affect the outcome?” he said.
He added: “It’s almost like it’s a completely flawed category of bets ... when you know the outcome of the bets that may be made along the way.”
Unlike traditional betting events like horse racing and sport, the outcome of The Bachelor and shows like it is already known by a wide pool of people before it goes to air.
Liquor & Gaming NSW, the industry regulator in the state, told news.com.au this is worrying.
“We have serious concerns about the integrity of betting on the outcome of TV shows,” a spokesman said in a statement.
They added: “TV shows are not subject to the same controls as major sports which have governing bodies and regulators to oversee their operations and reduce risks for race or match fixing.
“There are also concerns over the integrity of prerecorded TV shows where the outcomes are known to some people.”
Betting agencies licensed in NSW are required to seek approval from Liquor & Gaming NSW to offer bets on the outcomes of TV competitions and programs.
Usually, the only televised entertainment events the regulator will approve include award shows like the Logies and the Academy Awards because it considers them “significantly lower integrity risks”.
Liquor & Gaming NSW would not approve an agency to allow betting on a prerecorded TV show like The Bachelor to NSW residents. But this doesn’t stop people in NSW from betting because the local regulator does not have the authority to control online betting from agencies licensed in other part of Australia.
A number of online agencies are licenced out of the Northern Territory which allows them to operate under the NT regulations while also allowing customers in other states, like NSW, to bet.
According to the regulator, Sportsbet.com.au and William Hill are licensed in the Northern Territory, while Tabcorp is licensed in both NSW and the Northern Territory.
While it enables more punters — like NSW residents — to freely bet on the outcome of a prerecorded TV show, it’s a gamble the NSW regulator warns against.
“For these types of event-based betting markets, we advise NSW residents to exercise caution if betting with agencies not licensed and regulated in NSW,” the spokesman said.
Such a reputable organisation. Such an honest, upstanding industry. Who wouldn't believe their "hot tips"?
