Bachelorette Australia - Season 4 - Ali Oetjen - SM Media #2 - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

Not the first time he's brought up fostering or adopting children in interviews which I love  

Todd King says he wants to foster children with Ali Oetjen.

What's interesting is now they're tying it into Ali and Todd fostering kids/having kids with her. It reminds me of MattyJ who did an interview and talked about how he and Georgia had picked out names for their kids!  (such a F2 thing for Todd).

They're really MattyJ-ing Todd and I bet it is in part to the FRC ending. 
Like Matty had with Georgia at FRC and how he reacted with his heartbreak, we've already seen a glimpse of Ali's reaction at FRC of dumping Todd (imo) so I bet Todd's F2 reaction will surpass Matty's   

Ali already said in the first episode that she can tell Todd wears his heart/emotions on his sleeve so I suspect that will be a huge thing in future eps and it will be an epic FRC ending surpassing Matty and future seasons instead of Matty'J'd it will be called Todd'd or something like that 

With Ali latest interview, she is quite vague and she just said she is very happy but not that she found love.

I think she's being told to do that just for hype and drama dramaz. 

Before the season started she was saying she found love and had her F1s name in her phone as a nickname. Even those interviewing her were stating it like they knew she picked someone and found love.

Reading the end of the interview she is talking about if she found someone and all the things she's excited to do with her someone. So there's been a distinct change since before the season in how she is phrasing things (before she had found someone) now she is "if". Totally planned by TPTB imo.

I definitely think she picked someone (she's liked IG comments about her choosing someone too) and everything now is to try keep the suspense up imo. 

Because of the FRC preview of her sobbing/bawling her eyes out and Nick's ending so it's all "will the ending be the same like Nick" and then it won't be and she's with her F1 etc etc. That's what I am expecting to happen anyway 

Speaking to the Courier Mail's U on Sunday, 32-year-old Ali gave some very vague responses to questions about the show's outcome. 

"I'm very happy. I just feel at peace, calm and content, it's very nice," she said when asked if she'd found the love of her life on the show. "I can't really hide that I'm very happy." 

When pressed again as to whether she'd found someone, all she said was, "I'm just really very happy."

And then later in the chat, Ali was asked, "If you have found someone, what are the plans for the future?"

She said, "If I found someone, it would be spending as much time as we possibly can together. I'm so excited, if I found someone, to just do the little things like go to the grocery store, have coffee together, spend Christmas with his family or go on a little holiday and just relax, and then move in together and have life develop."

IA @AllAboutLove - They're just trying to hype the "picks no one" or "dumped at the FRC" storyline IMO - they've got all those tears on tape so might as well use them.

@Bobette  exactly. Whenever the media says "If" or "Could" it's code to me the media knows exactly what goes down but is just doing their part for click$. When they actually are telling things that happened, they are all "exclusive" and never back down on what they know. If there was no F1 the media would be saying  "HE walks away"..."She chooses no one" etc etc. That they're aren't and are using "maybe" language tells me there's a F1 and likely still together imo.

The fact they're suggesting Ali picks no one is laughable IMO.  She's literally described every man she's been on a date with as "perfect" in one way or another.  

Far more likely IMO she wanted them ALL and had a hard time whittling it down to just one.  

And she wouldn't risk getting turned down at the FRC because that would ruin the fairytale - she'd have only picked someone she knew would reciprocate, IMO.

But tbf every single other lead has picked someone sans Nick so it's not like she's doing anything out of the norm. It's just a thing now because of what happened with Nick picking no one. If Nick had chosen someone she wouldn't be asked this and media wouldn't be making it a thing either. There's a reason I think every single lead has picked someone at FRC. Whether the lead/F1 relationship lasts or not, these leads buy into the show and the process. Nick never did imo and why he should never have been cast 

I posted this before but the way this show is formatted there won't ever be a F1 turning down a lead imo. It's never happened on any franchise anywhere regardless of whether the lead is liked or not. The show's format is the lead giving a rose and the contestant accepting and the contestant having to work to "win" the lead. It wouldn't be believable to have a F1 saying he is in love, telling the lead he is in love and loves her and then rejects the lead at FRC. The "bubble" effect of this show only adds to it. It's far more likely there'd be leads who pick no one than a lead who is rejected. It's just the format of the show and the lead's in charge while the contestants have to "compete" to win.

Potentially veering off topic but it very nearly happened on Bach Can (Chris) - IMO something major went down or came out between the final dates and the FRC and they frantically had to flip things on their head to allow the IMO intended F1 to back out and make herself F2, and the IMO intended F2 to be framed as F1.  It made for an extremely unconvincing ending and I agree, it's because they couldn't allow the Lead to be turned down, which she most certainly would have done, IMO.

O/T Oh I'm sure that there are many who don't want to be with the lead, I just don't see it ever happening where the F1 rejects the lead at FRC. And the fact that theories abound that contestants going to FRC weren't allowed to turn down the lead so they're F2 spot only adds to that  I don't see a lead getting rejected at FRC because the show is built on the format of the lead being the prize. Make it that all contestants turn down the lead? Not going to happen imo. There's always someone who wants to win and the show would be totally defunct if the lead is no longer the prize (whether believable or not, it's just the format).

I noticed the comments on the article about FRC being in Northern Territories (NT) of Australia this season and NT being more expensive than Fiji (Sophie's finale) and other places. Is it really more costly to travel to/stay at the NT than many of these other places (Fiji)    

I honestly wish they filmed more in Australia and parts of the country they haven't shown before. There's so many amazing places they could showcase   

.Its actually costs more than TRIPLE to fly and stay at the NT than that of Singapore or Fiji..... .....Unfortunately we can't afford to see most of it!

@AllAboutLove, yes unfortunately I believe that is true and the reason so many Australians holiday in Bali or similar instead of travelling to the more remote parts of out own country and keeping tourism dollars at home.
