Very true but IMO he could use the same "excuse" for dumping F1, ie let people assume he really wanted Brooke and then say that after she left he felt pressure to choose one of the other two girls (only to realise it was never going to work).  

That's the angle I'd be going with if I was his PR manager anyway.  

Can't wait to see what happens, especially considering if Nick and Britt are happy and still together, @stoneleigh's insider scoops will have proven more reliable than the entire cohort of Daily Mail journalists and all their sources combined.  

I am not convinced he would have even stayed with Brooke if she had stayed. I think nick is not capable to settle down right now. His is at the top of his business game right now. All business doors are opened and the trekking he does are his today passion. No place for any woman in that.

Brooke was the most compatible but they should have met in 5years. Brooke needs more time to enjoy her life and goals and stay in Perth with her family she created for herself. She left Sydney 2years ago not to start over again, alone most of the time while he was trekking . Maybe she told him she would not move to Sydney and decided it was a dead end? Which is stupid since he lived in Perth with his ex Martine...

. Brit had a major plus which is her love of travels..... in other countries, not trekking.

I think prods pressured him to pick one. We know how convincing they can be. But at the end, no cameras, no crew, contract over, real life pop up and called it BS. He was never ready to settle down in an healthy stable relationship. He knew it but reality of commitment made him sick and he called it quit

I hope he remains friend with all. But for me, I think he is a coward. He should have negotiated his media after show and stuck around. But maybe you are right and this will be a nobody FRC and if so it does not matter if he left trekking the week of the finale.

For me there is enough evidence to support Sophie being F1 and I see britt as a graceful F2 moving on with life and his family are being supportive of F2 because they are lovely people. I also don't believe the narrative that Sophie has not been able to open up, it reminds me of Laura and Matty and i do not see a sad man that is going to break her heart in the promo, he looks overjoyed when she tells him she is falling head over heels, Britt tells him on the couch in the promo and they both look really uncomfortable. Anyway.. not long until FRC now

Two separate sources (sorry have to be vague).

One of them definitely knows I watch the show but would have no idea the way they spoke would have given anything away. This person knows who F1 is and whether or not they would still be together 100% guaranteed. Conversation was about Britt in particular and this person kinda added Nick into Britt as a 'they'... in a way that would not make sense if Britt wasn't F1. (Have to be very cryptic about this one sorry)

The other one has NO IDEA I watch the show (would be quite shocked to discover I did), they are attached to the show and would need to know if anything untoward had happened because it would involve what they needed to do as their job. This person uses me as a sounding board for some things so I know quite a lot about their job. This person is doing their 'job' as if Nick and F1 are still together. They would never tell me who F1 was for sure because they are professional, but my impression is that it is Britt.

There's a small chance I could be wrong and Sophie is F1... but source one's conversation would then be odd.

I would be shocked, from what I know from source two, if any split, or change up, had happened.

@stoneleigh wow.. to say I'm dissapointed is an understatement. The way Nick has talked about Sophie (Spa on radio and liking comment about her booty) is very disrespectful to a F2 and the poor girl had to be bridesmaid at her sisters wedding 2 weeks after FRC. I'm wondering why she went to Vanuatu after FRC and Britt was in Brisbane?

I could be wrong, you never know. I don't know it's Britt for sure. It's all good either way. Both girls are awesome in my opinion.

I am pretty confident that there's been no split though.

In the past the final 2 girls and the bachelor have only ever told immediate family members about who has won and they are sworn to secrecy. Personally I have trouble believing a family friend or close acquaintance knows 100% who has won. Last year a cousin of Elise was 100% sure she had won, but she was wrong.
In Georgia Love's season she had a steamy spa session with the F2 (Matty). And Metty had a spa date on the boat in Sydney Harbour with his F2. Make of this what you will in regards to Nick and Sophie. Personally I see more lust between the two of them than a deep , lasting connection.

Not sure if this has been mentioned or means as anything but Laura and Alex both follow Britt but not Sophie.

There are quite a few production people who know too. Source 2 would definitely know, as per their job requirements, if anything like a post show split or change up had happened. I'm also pretty sure they would have to know who F1 is too... gotta know who to call!

As for source one. @Sundy and @AllAboutLove know who it is. I'm sure they would agree that person would definitely know.
