Exactly @Enough. As I posted above, the only time they aired The Project interview later for bachau was with Blake's season. I don't get why Nick can't have his interview Friday. So he can promote his book? The Project interview with the happy couple is about the lead and their F1. I don't see it as a positive for it to be about Nick promoting a book and himself - it should be about his F1 and his love as a priority (all the other leads still with F1s were able to do that). 

Idk what to think... this season I've heard so many rumors. It's been very odd. "Nick chose Britt and dumped her. Nick chose Sophie. Nick chose no one. Nick is still with Britt." So many rumors and nothing concrete or solid yet. I still don't understand why Daily Mail has been adamant about Nick and Britt being split (and Ten hasn't said that it is false like they usually do with things). Sportsbet putting out that "no one" won when they never do that. Perhaps if Nick chose someone they are still together or perhaps there is something else going on. 

If there is something awry, then I'm also not sure how much fellow cast members know themselves what is going on. Even with Blake, many of the contestants didn't know even after the finale aired that Blake and Sam had broken up. I was reading through the archived threads for that season and the contestants were all congratulating Sam and how happy they are for Blake and Sam. It was only after the next day when Ten put out a statement that Blake and Sam were over that the contestants who were on the same season as Sam (so not even past contestants) were then realizing that it was over.

I am interested to see what happens when the finale airs. If Nick picks someone and posts a photo of him with his F1 then I will take that as a good sign. If he doesn't post anything on his IG, then I will take it like he is doing his interview the way Blake did and for the same reasons. I remember all the media, even on Studio 10, leading up to the The Project interview with Blake and Sam separately being interviewed by Carrie. It was huge media blitz then. Perhaps Ten want that for ratings on Sunday.

Hopefully some answers soon! If Nick does choose someone I'll be watching Nick's IG on Thursday

Nick is up to something on this Kokoda Trek. As he was committed to this Trek a long time before he signed The Bachelor contract, TEN would have seized the opportunity for big ratings by planning a 'cliffhanger' Finale. Everything will be different simply because Nick is different.

The first two paragraphs talk about the day, flying, trekking, sightseeing etc for the group but "The Honey Badger and crew got into camp at 5pm today." It was only a 3 hour trek, whereas other days are 6 to 8 hours of trekking. Any significance in this, I wonder?

As there would be medical evacuations on a regular basis, I'm sure TEN helicopters could organise a little 'surprise'?

Tuesday 02 October

All to plan today for the first day tackling Kokoda for our trekkers. It was an early start as the trekkers were up for breakfast before a 6:30am flight to Popondetta. Arriving in Popondetta they inspected the monument and headed over to the supermarket to pick up a few supplies before a three hour truck ride to Kokoda. After finally arriving at Kokoda Village, the trekkers were introduced to their local porters and support staff, who will be with them for the next eight days.

They had lunch here and spent some time at the Kokoda museum and plateau before taking a group photo at the start line and then off into the jungle on the way to Deniki for there first night on the track.

The Honey Badger and crew got into camp at 5pm today. All are travelling well after their first day trekking, despite the weather being pretty hot for most of the day, and rain coming down just as they got into camp.

Everyone is now enjoying the spectacular views over the Kokoda valley, and are having a well earnt wash before dinner.

Gotta Laugh! As it's called Honey Badger Trek,  FB user  "Jorj Ricketts   What's a Honey Badger?"

Blake's finale was Thurs Oct 2. Blake was supposed to do The Project that Friday Oct 4 the day after finale like all the happy couples do.

Instead, Blake did a pre-recorded The Project interview Mon Oct 6 (The Project never aired on Sundays then like it does now) and dumped-F1 Sam Frost was also in that pre-recorded interview. The Project host Carrie Bickmore interviewed Blake and Sam separately in the same interview.

If Nick split with his F1 (Britt like DM said) or there is something awry with the ending then Ten is following the same post-finale media plan with Nick like they did with Blake

But Nick isn't scheduled to do the interview on Friday. It's not changing. I think it is like @stoneleigh wrote earlier. He is doing a longer interview and plugging his book, the trek and whatever happened on the show. He is a celebrity who has way more clout that Blake did and they worked around him and his schedule.

Personally I really don't expect anything all that shocking....but then, I have a mentality of someone who is used to the US f*ckfest...so it would take a lot to shock me.

Blake wasn't scheduled for the Friday either. They never had Blake scheduled for Friday and then changed it, rather they chose to have it air later.

What I mean by "delaying" is that the Bachelor interview post-finale on The Project has always been the Friday following the finale. 

The only time it hasn't been was Blake's season and he had split with his F1.  

So while it can be said that it's Nick is special or whatever, the bottom line is that the only time for bachelor AU that they aired The Project bachelor interview later was Blake's season.

Not a good sign imo.

TEN did not work around nick schedule (and they knew it before since it was schedule a year ago) or they would have started the season one week earlier, giving him allllllll the time to do the 2 days media round IMO

There is a production company who does the show and then the TV network. I am sure the TV network channel 10 can decide when they want to air it and the time slot. Nick's media obligations are probably set with the production company not the TV network.

at the end of the day, it was probably in his contract. so did they accept him to do no media round at finale beforehand???

Laura was F1 and wore white last year for S5. Snez wore white in S3. 

It was discussed up thread with pics for the F3 dresses from all previous season. The F1s usually wear the darkest or lightest color dresses.

No, Blake's interview was only a few days after finale and it was an interview with Sam and Blake (separately) first, not Sam and Lisa. 

Blake's finale was Oct 2. The Project interview was re-scheduled from Friday Oct 3 to Monday Oct 6 and was pre-recorded with Carrie interviewing Blake and Sam separately. It was highlighted on Studio 10 that Monday morning.

It was weeks later on Oct 20 that The Project did an interview with Sam and Lisa and after Blake had gotten back with Louise.

It seems they cut out the part of Britts hometown were they talked, it was probably in the light house then they went outside like in the screencaps of season preview.

ETA: I don't know if this has been sluethed but there claiming this is when they were at hometowns.

@Zaynab that's an error in the article about it being hometowns, it's been sleuthed Britt and Nick visit the Macquarie Lighthouse in Sydney in tonight's episode as their F3 date. They are lovely pics of Britt and Nick
