Yes, I've enjoyed Sophie a lot more than I thought I would, I'm sure she'll be on BIP, and IMO she'd be a delightful Bette.

So much is said and done to keep up appearances and of course to keep people tuned in to the end of the show. The more I think about Sophie, Britt and Cass being best friends outside of the mansion is because none of them ended up with Nick. What if the surprise ending, never before seen on the AU franchise of this show is Nick choosing neither Sophie or Britt? What if Nick gave the most heart-felt speech about not wanting to hurt either girl if he didn't love them? If he was genuine in his rejections the families might be okay and that's why they all support Nick on SM. These are only my thoughts as I can see no genuine connection from Nick with the final 2.

I am not convinnced she wiould accept BIP. She is a careerist and if she is genuine, she moved to Sydney for her work.... IF she is genuine. I remember an ex colleague who posted on this forum that she is not. The big reveal will be her attitude with media’s after the finale IMO

Agreed - this has been speculated since before the season began and feels more realistic than ever at this stage IMO.  I'm 70% he picks no one, 30% Britt, 0% Sophie.

In the preview for next week IMO he appears to be over-reacting to Brooke's exit.  It looks like they are both acting, IMO.  I think it was scripted from the beginning Brooke would be portrayed as his favourite (FIR, lots of SQT, lots of kind things said in ITM, other girls saying she's the clear favourite) and then leave late-game, to justify him picking no one.  

He'll come out still smelling sweet because all he has to say is that it wouldn't be right to choose either girl if he's not feeling it.  Who could argue with that?  IMO there is not enough time for Nick to go from "heartbroken" when Brooke leaves to suddenly having found the love of his life by the end of the next episode.  It just won't be believable, IMO.

I haven't seen a genuine connection with any girl all season and I think they felt the same way, hence no hard feelings post show from family or friends or anyone. JMO

I totally agree with all you have written. As I read it, it came to me we both posted something similar months ago about Nick ending up with no one

How can nick could be visibly upset with Brooke’s departure and yet looking for a proposal with any of the 2? I do not buy either any love story with them. I agree 100% with you and thought exactly the same that this “no guy will ever break our friendship “ is over the top and more a support group during heartbreak and the same guy who broke their heart. Solidarity in recovery.


The way I see it....
Cass will be seen clubbing and paps will love her. She will continue to post her booties pics. See you at BIP!
Sophie will move up the ladders in her work. She will date here and there, long or short term
Brit will leave the country for another year or two... come back, meet a lawyer/doctor/CEO and marry him

They have nothing in common except the guy and the experience. TheBFF will frizzle with time, probably few months until nick season forgotten. They will soon become acquaintances IMO

@HEA The connection with Brooke was special IMO. Acting a part or not I think they both had genuine feelings for each other. I agree with all you have said about the commonality between the women being Nick and their friendship will wane and life will move on independent of each other and Nick.
Oh and I think your prediction of the women's lives is very probable.

I'm just wishing I'd stuck with my original gut instinct (picks no one) rather than get distracted by Sportsbet.  Should have realised having "picks no one" wouldn't be a smart option for them because it would discourage people from betting on the individual girls and that's where they make their $$$s.  If he leaves single, SB will clean up (since they only have to pay out on an actual winner).  There's going to be uproar if that happens IMO - could spell the end of entertainment betting altogether.

And a new teaser appears to show the moment that the former Wallabies star realises he's not in love with any of the finalists.

Set in picturesque New Caledonia, a suit-clad Nick nervously awaits for the finalists to arrive and within seconds he dramatically doubles over as the weight of his decision becomes all too much.
