Bachelor Australia Season 6 - Nick Cummins - SM Media #3 - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

Cass defending Britt is an interesting turn of events. TPTB had no priblem in throwing Britt under the bus for drama’s sake. Britt is receding backlash from the media over it. Cass sticking up for her makes Cass look kind and sweet, but I don’t know if it will make people like Britt.

Britt posted and stuck up for Cass on her IG earlier in the season so it's nice to see Cass doing the same.

The backlash is going to be huge if Britt is F1. Facebook and Instagram are going nuts, people really dislike Britt after tonights ep

On Sophie’s IG pic of hometown check out the comments. A poster called out Nick’s sis Margie on a past comment made on Britt’s IG. Truly comical.

And Margie posted red hearts emojis on Soph pic in the green dress. Says she doesn’t know outcome that Nick runs a tight ship.

omg just had a look i love how when the poster actually had proof Nick's sister flat out denied it and said that she never posted that before - also, nick's family seem very close and tight-knit and they definitely would have known who the f2 were, it's very unlikely that nick hasn't told her who the winner is
and just thinking back to one of the interviews nick did about how his fmaily pretty much picked out the winner when they first met the girls - their family said that britt and brooke really stood out so if they were meeting britt and sophie as f2 it is pretty obvious who the winner is

I really like all of the F4 this year, and that’s unusual, I’m usually not keen on at least one of them  I’d be happy with any of them as Bette, or on BIP.

I started the season quite liking Nick, I found him refreshing and a change from the status quo, but as it’s gone on he’s become boring to me, all the same silly catch phrases all the time.

 Mamamia is generally trash, but I quite like this article, it struck a bit of a chord with me about this season, it might be interesting to some of you as well

I agree about this season appealing to guys, but I disagree with this part:

"We’ve seen numerous dates where the conversation has fallen silent, Cummins unable to find any common ground with an adult woman. Unless they’re willing to tackle him, throw themselves on an ice rink or play a bizarre game of golf soccer, the chemistry is noticeably absent."

This happens regardless who is the lead or even if the lead is male or female. Let's face it, most of the time, these people have very little in common so conversation lacks. Always. That is why we have been told by former leads that when they have nothing to talk about.....make out. Nick's conversational skills in this situation may be more lacking and he may be more reluctant to make out, so it is just more noticeable.

Cass is the MVP of this season for so many reasons, IMO.

I agree Sprite - yes Nick is a little awkward but it's been made to look more uncomfortable via editing.

I also agree with what you say here @Dirty Street Pie.  I'd like to see all Nick's "top girls" on BiP, even the witches.  A more relaxed/less scripted/less heavily edited environment would give them all more of a chance to shine, IMO.

Re Nick, I like the guy but I'm ready for his season to be over.  I don't feel like any of the girls are genuinely into him other than Cass.  It was very evident to me that Sophie was faking it on her date and I kind of felt embarrassed for him.

I haven't seen a love story with Britt or anyone else. I get the feeling Nick is a complex guy capable of deep, passionate love. I think he had that with Martine. I don't think there was ever any chance of him finding it again on this show.

It's very interesting that Brooke singles out Britt as the one to watch out for - it seems as though Britt and Brooke really don't like each other judging from what they have said in previous episodes and now in this interview

This season has been exhausting. 

I agree with you @Bobrtte about the lack of a love story. I saw like and interest but no standout moments to say Aha!!! Very lukewarm at the most. Suffice it for all the acting credits this season. Will be surprised if Nick is kicking it with F1 or a second chance maybe. 

I like the women this season and felt at times how things may be if there was a different lead. Someone successful, easy on the eyes but a regular Joe. I wondered.
