BACHELOR 23 - Colton Underwood - General Discussion - **NO SPOILERS** - *SLEUTHING*

Next week...Hometowns.

Walking in the park with Heather. Making out with Taysha. Skydiving and screaming like a girl.

Hannah brings him home and says family approval means everything. Make or break.

Calynn brings him to meet everyone. Meeting family can change things. (Hmmm....forshawdowing??? Is she the one he dumps? I had thought it would be Taysha F4.) He is terrified.

Taysha says her dad may be intimidating and Colton says having family blessing is a big deal.

One father asks what his intentions are? (I think Calynn's).

Hannah's mom is freaking out.

Cassie's dad is going on to her that Colton is still dating other women and he doesn't want to make judgements too quickly, but he is a guy dating his daughter.

Meanwhile, Colton is freaking out in someone's driveway saying he has all the warning signs/red flags going off right now. Gee, I wonder who that could be about??? Hmmm....could it possibly be the one that everyone warned him about, but because she set off his little Colton, he didn't want to listen?

Finally we have a little something to end the episode with. Colton on his date with Taysha walking the dog and apparently she got chocolate all over her jeans. (It would have been funnier if it had been dog poop.)  They ask some nameless production assistant for help and he is wiping her azz. She is also wiping. It is actually pretty funny as people around them are taking pictures. I wonder if this was spoiled since it is so public and so many people were watching and using their phones to take pictures?


After this, I am pretty sure that he really, really wants Cassie and she dumps him.

I would say Hannah is his next pick, but we have seen very little between them other than making out, but that applies for Cassie too. I find it hard to see how she could now become F1, but she must since I definitely don't see it with Taysha or Calynn who have now both been involved in the drama and the tattling.

I had thought Taysha would be the next to go, but based on next weeks preview that meeting family changes everything, I am wondering if Calynn is the next to go? Not that it really matters, he doesn't want either.

Now I am wondering if the driveway freak out is because of family or if Cassie dumps him? Thinking about it more logically, they didn't show the wall jump and a really big freakout...which I would think they would to promote something so dramatic, so I am inclined to think that she doesn't dump him yet, but I'm positive she will pretty soon since we are almost at the end.

How fantastic would it be if we got our very first Bachelor rejected at the end!? It just might make it worthwhile sitting through the rest of this boring , cr*pfest of a season!!!! Now I am getting excited!

I watched and it was probably my least favorite show of the season. It just all seems so stupid. I normally buy into the warnings at least a little because it's from the way they are in the house but this feels different. Tayisha and maybe others were just going by what Katie said and then assuming they knew who she was talking about. Even if they did talk about possibly being bachelorette, so what? Does anyone actually go on this show planning on falling in love and living happily ever after? Not if they're smart.

The f4 were pretty predictable. I still think it's Cassie with Hannah as f2. I just think that she's getting the chemistry edit and that's all we've seen. I do see more with Cassie but I don't see it lasting with anyone. If they're trying to show up doubt with anyone, that tells me that this is a normal ending with him picking someone and them saying yes.

I'm busy packing for our move so I think I'll go ahead and spoil myself. This is the longest I've ever lasted which might be more my lack of interest in this season. See you on the other side.

Just finished watching and it goes to show that everything in the previews is to make me think exactly opposite of what my original feeling is.  I am sticking with Cassie as F1.  All the drama and car scene in previews last week were for naught.  Colton standing there and saying the things he does at the FRC my bet is on Cassie.  He doesn't light up around anyone else like he does her. They are the only ones who have natural chemistry.  Cassie in the car crying is not after a FRC dumping because she is dressed very casually. He kept her last on the group date so they had more alone time.  She was the only one he seemed genuinely excited about meeting family.  We didn't see Hannah convo so possibly there is something more there that I am missing but I just don't see it with her.

I am staying because after all this time I just want to wait it out and see it play out on my tv.  Soon enough it will be out and all the drama will ensue and then fans will get on board and haters will begin the hating.

Looks like Pageant Hannah returns for the "explanation" scene.  That will take up at least 20 minutes of next week show

As if he is the expert...more like another fame ho like Dolton who pretends he is falling in love with multiple people all the while trying to appear sincere. The only one who truly seems sincere is the dog...naturally, pretentiously named Sniper. Poor thing.

Ladies arrive at some park and the dates start now. He pulls Taysha and they walk off with the dog. She thinks he deserves to know that Katie told him the truth...that some are not there for the right reasons...and we get a screenshot of Cailyn and Cassie. Don't make it too obvious!!!

Hello. Is anyone else left here for HTD's?

I just don't have the energy to spoil myself even though it seems that Cassie will be dumping his butt at some point between HTD's and the final. Since the scene of him jumping the fence takes place in the dark, I'm going to guess that it is not at the FRC since that is always at sunset and I don't think it will be tonight since they didn't pimp the fence jump at the end of last weeks episode. So, by the process of elimination is has to be either at the FD episode or the MTP.

Tonight it is hometowns. So much screaming. So much angst. So many hard a**ed parents and it all makes poor Dolton's head hurt.

We start out with Colton showering to porn music. As if that makes him look more sincere.

He .. yet again … reiterates that some may not be here for the right reason and it may leave him heartbroken.

First up Calynn and she takes him on a carriage ride. SHE LOVES COLTON!!! And she is so excited...said in the most unexcited voice ever! They are talking about what their life would be like...getting a dog, kids. Please Forced makeout.

He will meet her family, but not her biological dad since he is not a part of her life. Her stepdad raised her and he will be there.

I don't know why all these people need to be there other than they all want to be on tv.

Stepdad is concerned about Colton's sincerity. He doesn't want them to make any hasty decisions. Please. All they want is their SM numbers to go up so they can make money shilling stuff and not working.

They are eating and Colton tries to give a sincere toast. Sis pulls Calynn aside and she is sceptical of his sincerity.

Mom is talking to Colton. Shockingly she is also sceptical. Apparently Colton thinks they have some trials and it has made their relationship stronger. Mom isn't sure he or Calynn are ready.

Now Calynn is talking to her stepdad. He thinks that it sounds as if they could be friends. Dad is looking like he wants to puke. She is laying it on thick. Another check in her Bachelorette resume. Not just one sad storyline with the sexual assault, but also being abandoned by her dad. Not really buying her despite everything. For some reason she comes off fake to me.

Colton does the required permission seeking from dad. Despite his scepticism, he kind of gives it.

We end with some videos of Calynn that they watch. As she walks him out, she tells him she is not just falling in love, she is fully in love with him. I have never seen someone declare their love with less emotion.

Next we are in Alabama with Hannah and she is giving him Southern etiquette lessons. Is the monkey jump and straddle part of traditional southern greeting? I think not.

This is so stupid. It makes me cringe. I'm pretty sure Colton is kind of ticked off.

Finally we come and meet the folks. More squealing. Again Colton tries to give a sincere speech so they don't hate him. Mom is already not a happy camper.

I just want to slap them all. They are boring me to death.

Back with Hannah quizzing her peeps about what they think of Colton. They all think she is excited by him and they look very comfortable. They ask about his virginity...does it worry her for the FS? She is fine with it all. She looks even less emotional than Calynn.

Dad is quizzing Colton. Another protective dad sounding sceptical. Same old, same old.

Now mom is questioning Hannah. Mom is also sceptical and Hannah is trying to convince her. She seems to have cracked that nut....but not me. I'm a much harder nut to crack.

Colton asks for permission to marry Hannah from dad even thought, he basically says he is not there. That was the weirdest asking for a blessing I have ever seen on this show.

They say goodbye to the family and then go and make out in front of her house after she says she is falling in love with him and could see herself with him.

So I will make a prediction for tonight. Those that say they are falling in love will continue to FD's, while who says they are in love will sail off into the limo of tears...so it seems that will be Calynn.

Next up is Taysha with her blindfold and make out. She wants to see it he really trusts her and she will be in the drivers seat. She says she is a great driver as the car is bouncing around and his head slams into the side of the car.

She brings him to some skydiving plane and she wants them to challenge each other. He thinks this is his payback for taking her bungee jumping when she didn't want to go. The instructor is making Colton sh*t his pants. This is where he squeals like a little pig. Apparently Colton is shaking and he looks so freaked out. He prays that he survives because he still has to lose his virginity. He doesn't know what he is missing, but he's heard it's good. Yes, he had to go there.

Once they jump out he seems to enjoy it. Naturally, after that horrific experience they make out to celebrate still being alive and declare that they are mutually "falling" for each other. Please.

We are at Taysha's family place. She quizzes him on all the names of the various family members and the family inside discuss what to expect.

They go straight to dinner and dad is … wait for it … sceptical. Colton is all sincere. They get pulled apart...mom with Tay and dad with Colton. Poor little brother left sitting alone.

Mom just wants her to be treated right and loved unconditionally.

Dad is unsure of the time period. Colton tells him he is falling in love with her. Dad is not so sure and wonders if he is telling the others the same things. I like this dad. He is not up in your face aggressive, but asks some really good questions. Naturally, Colton then proceeds to ask dad's permission to marry and dad says … I just met you. I think you are a good guy. I have my daughters best interest at heart....SO NO! Love this dad! Polite, but still NO!!!

Next we have Taysha's older brother with Colton. Apparently he is in law enforcement and he will hunt him down....all said with a smile.

Taysha talking with dad. He is asking what is she thinking? How do you know he isn't telling you what you want to hear...like your ex? She is very sure she would marry Colton if asked. Dad says … You can't microwave a relationship!!! Love it. He trusts Taysha and he caves. NO, NO, NO. You were doing so well dad!!!
