Bachelorette Australia - Season 4 - Ali Oetjen - Screencaps - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

Looked through the only other returnee BetteAU, SamF's season's archives because I am still not sure that Todd's s/cap in the water is for Fantasy Dates/F3 or LCD (Last chance date)F2. 

Todd is from Perth so the water s/cap could be HTD in Perth considering the color of water and similar to Richie's HTD. It's more hot and heavy though so if not HTD then definitely more FD/F3 or LCD/F2    

.... Interesting to note that in S1s extended promo the last guy seen is Richie and in the water.... just like Todd is the last guy seen in the preview and in the water

Sidenote: interestingly F4/Alex took Sam surfing for his HTD. If Charlie goes to F4 like suspected, it could be what Charlie does (paddle boarding s/cap) on his HTD... 

Just noticing Ali's hair with Todd - it seems to be held back with more than one hair band whereas in the airboating SCs it looks more like a normal single-band ponytail.  

Also I'm thinking airboating would require open, flat water, different to waterfall terrain.  So I'm thinking it could be Taite on the airboat but Todd's waterfall is also in the NT?

Making Todd F2 and leaving Rob in F3, IMO.  I think if Rob were F2 we'd have more SCs of him in varied different locations but all the ones we have of him are urban.

My thinking with that is I'd expect them to be focusing more on family/friends and I think Geraldton is beachy so they'd have to go WAY out of his hometown to find a waterfall and I don't see why they'd bother?

All I can say is watch out for crocs if that scap of Todd and Ali is in the NT

I agree that the water looks similar between Richie and Todds dates, but usually there is not as much pashing on HTD as what there is on F3 or F2 dates, and those screencaps look like a full on session, which is what inclines me to think that it's not in WA.

It may be a clue that they're floating on rubber tubes - they possibly had a date where they "tubed" down some rapids and then ended up at the bottom in that lovely waterhole.  

Currently searching Google for a company offering that kind of experience since that's probably not something TPTB could organise themselves (WAY too dangerous).

It looks white to me but as @AllAboutLove says the colour might be washed out in the footage.  For me the shape has been the hardest thing to try to match - I'm finding a lot of airboats with square noses but not many with the tapered nose ("boat nose" not really a technical maritime term but you know what I mean ).  Also the fewer number of seats seems unusual - most of them have 6-8 seats.  And finally that concave bit at the front where it dips down is a different shape to the ones I'm finding.

To me they are same/similar air boats  

The shape and color of the airboat looks like the one that @Sundy posted 
- same airboat shape with tapered noses and blue with white 
- fewer seats for both sc and pics
- back fan at the end of the airboat matches
- dip in the front of the airboat matches in both sc and the pics 
- I also see the orange life buoy ring in the s/cap above (can see the orange ring at the back of the airboat). And similar to the airboat that Sundy posted the pic of above

It's definitely similar but I don't think it's identical - I've seen lots of similar boats (including with the life buoy - they would be mandatory on all craft).  

The aerial view shows a shadow at the front of the boat suggesting that section is concave, ie dips down, whereas the boat above appears to have a flat nose.

Agreed. That's my hesitation on it being a HTD, the pashing is not typical for a HTD. So I am leaning towards FD/F3 or LCD/F2....

IA it is likely something they can be in tubes. Not sure about rapids though. I'm off to search

I think I may have found the location (two possible ones) for Todd's sc pashing Ali by waterfall

The other one I was thinking was Twin Falls but I think that's less likely

Great job guys - I was on the same track as you @Agent99 - I studied some geology at Uni and those rock layers stuck out to me as distinctive too.

ETA: I edited in a zoomed in pic of the airboat upthread to illustrate the shadow but it also clearly shows IMO that the man in blue has dark hair so I'm definitely thinking that's Taite's NT date.

Also fits with common preview editing of having only one obscure shot of the F1 at the FRC location and plenty of F2. Remember Lee - we only had that pic of his feet jumping into the hotel pool
