Ali wants to hear Taite will fight for her after she already told him she is falling in love with him? 

The guy doesn't need to fight for her when she is offering it on a silver platter.

Also, if she has to say she wants him to fight for her after she's told him she's falling for him then that says it all. 

This won't last. jmo

She is literally giving him a herd of dairy cows then expecting him to pay for a glass of milk.  No wonder she's still single.

She's more than giving him a herd of dairy cows, she's milking those cows for him and putting them in the glass for him to drink.

And then he's so full of milk he starts to feel nauseous and there's no way he's going to be paying for milk when he's already had more than enough for free.  

Meanwhile Ali can't understand why he won't pay top dollar for her glass of milk - she has given him so much for free, it's the least she deserves, surely?!

Who has their ex at their HTDs   Bill lives for the drama imo.

My guess would be either his family didn't want to do it or a producer got in Bill's ear and suggested it as a way to spice up what could otherwise be a ho-hum HTD. He probably realised he wasn't a contender so might as well be remembered for something!

They could have a brother/sister relationship now. It is not unusual to see that. I see it often and I think it is great. One of my exes is almost like a brother to me now and my husband knows it. There is nothing romantic at all, even thinking that once in the past there was intimacy makes it creepy so I try not to think about it. It is really a fraternal relationship and we will be friends until we are very very old people, so perhaps that is how Bill and his ex feel about each other. The problem is that imo Ali will not see it that way, and it can be intimidating, and I can understand why, of course. It is just unwise to have your potential partner meeting your ex during hometowns. It should be done only if the person agrees and has a clear picture of the actual nature of the relationship. Add to the fact that Ali is a very insecure person. Oh, but now that I remember, didn't Grant say that Ali's ex fiance was the brother or a guy she used to have sex with? Well, if that is true, she would be very hypocritical if she judged Bill because he is close friends to his ex, then.

I still think it's pretty extra for an ex to want to be there but it makes for good tv and that's all that matters

I agree that Bill's ex shouldn't be on the show because it creates unnecessary drama and suspicion, but I disagree with your statement that is creepy to have a sibling relationship with an ex because I have it too and so do a few of my European friends, and it shows excellent social skills and emotional stability. Besides, each relationship is unique and imo it also has to do with duration and type of the relationship with an ex. It is different to have a sibling-like relationship  with  an 'ex' that was with you (here I am using a general 'you')  for three months and where there wasn't really a  deep romantic  love, than be very close to someone  you were three years and in which there  was passionate romantic love;  with the former is easier to become super good friends with the later I would think is very hard and highly unlikely for it to occur; but it still happens when people have sound social skills. How we approach relationships is subjective anyway.

Back to Bill: I also think that this girl and Bill may have just dated without being in a long-serious relationship. Dating is not the same as to be in a relationship, at least not to me. I still think it is stupid for her to be on the show unless Bill didn't want to be picked, of course.
