It may be both. Deliberate and who he is. He was kind of gross on the other reality dating show he was on First Dates last year. So I think it's part him and part edit. They're just choosing to show it instead of hide it. Already thought he was perfect for Ali based on how much in common they have before the season started so while I don't care for him and his edit won't be great, it could work for them that they're aren't faves and F1 doesn't get a good edit. Sometimes I think the ones with the worst edits on the Bette last the longest.

I'm not able to post the preview clip for Ep 4 so posting a SC and info for the episode tonight:
SD = Taite gets the SD per sleuthing
GD = a compatibility test. Looks like there will be 8 men: Charlie, Rob, Bill, Ivan, Paddy, Joules, and Danny. SQT? = Danny seems to get some 1on1 time so he may win GD? Seems awkward though and he goes to kiss but she isn't into it (Ivan looked like he tried to kiss last episode and she didn't, kept titling her head away. Ali likes to kiss so if she doesn't then she really doesn't)
CP = Charlie and Nathan go at it about rumors. Taite seen taking Ali away from the guys arguing. Todd mia and not part of the rumor drama (he's always mia from the drama and doesn't get into it at all. Not sure if he gets any SQT or anything but since the ep seems rumor focused probably for the best)

@LeapofFaith Agreed! Grant sucks He cheated on two of his ex-fiancees so worst bet is it is karma. Not that I condone cheating, but I am not going to pretend this was some serious relationship for Grant even if it happened. People cheat. It happens. Would I feel differently if this was a serious relationship? Yes. I get morals etc and no it's not great but I'd have to de-friend a lot of people who have done similar things (even micro cheating) if I hold them to that standard. Hopefully they learn and make better choices when they're in a serious relationship. Jordan F1 for JoJo Bette USA cheated and was even accused of cheating on JoJo. They're still together. So if I throw mud at Ali then I can't sit here and be okay with JoJo and Jordan.

Will be interesting to see if the ep 5 SD is something that seems designed with Todd in mind.
That said, they could easily have shifted dates around, ie IMO they always planned to have Todd stripped down to his jocks as seen in the preview and the BTS paparazzi pics confirm the SD is just at a hotel room so could easily have been booked at short notice IMO. Therefore if Bill steals they could have just swapped it out for a clothed date and saved the naked date for Todd (TYIA producers

@Bobette good point Matty J didn't get a single date until Episode 6 and then he got a 2nd SD Episode 8 and that's when he really came to the forefront. Honestly that's the best time to make headway since these first eps are more drama focused anyway and Todd is not part of drama at all so it's better that way.

I also hope he doesn't go back to that. He needs to go on BIP instead. His whole pre-season media was about him and Carly though. Not a good sign. Will see. Rob's edit so far he seems nice but the audience on SM is making tons of comments about his sexual orientation which is sad though because the stereotype that effeminate men have to be gay is totally wrong. Who a person is sexually interested in has nothing to do with that in causation. One can be gay and a blokey bloke just the same. The way they edited him though has only added to that stereotype. It also makes it so he is unlikely to be seen as F1 or a frontrunner. Taite and Paddy were making fun of Rob too while he was on his date. Not cool

The thing that makes me chuckle about this is Danny's ex-Federal Polics so probably had a whole dossier on Ali before the show. No wonder he wins the compatibility contest.
He's still there on the Tea Party date though so the kiss doesn't kill him off just yet.
