TBH, I think Becca was foolish for quitting her job. It's not like she had a lot to fall back on, as did some past B'ettes. Des, JoJo, Rachel all kept their solid careers while either expanding them and/or expanding their talents in other directions as well. And I don't understand how Becca could be so awkward using SM when she was a publicist!!!  It's a given that a publicist would need to be expert on sm!  (maybe she was fired)  I don't think Becca seems like a savvy, bright bulb.  I thought the DIFF glasses were hideous, who wears aviator sunglasses that are 3 times larger than their face, and who pays that much money for them. She looked like a clown wearing them. It's almost like DIFF sabotaged her sales from the gitgo.

Not only companies may distance themselves from the couple, but I've noticed not many from BN are following G. Some of the guys from his season, but not many from prior seasons.  It's that "guilt by association" thing (which is how I feel about Becca).

I am curious, does anyone here factually know what Becca’s prior job entailed and at what level of expertise? You can be in pr and then you can be in PR. Being in a low level job at a low level firm is not equal to being at a low level job with a top notch firm or client.
I’m just trying to get a real idea of what she actually did in her career.
I happen to also believe she not the brightest bulb and that BN does not appear to be very welcoming to this couple.

Obviously, she wasn't valued as a "senior account executive" too much if they let her go while filming. I believe that's the first time I've ever heard of a Bachelor/ette lead or contestant losing their job for going on the show!

Becca started shilling sandals since she was on Arie's season she's no different than anybody else in fact it's funny how some people decide when shilling is okay and when it isn't, at the end of the day she got what she wanted a golden retriever that looks like the twin of her ex, hope they go to be Fake Woke somewhere else and not on my TV, also she has been travelling quite often funny how that it's good or bad depending on the couple laugh out loud

I’m an attorney and there is no way my company would hold my job for me to go on the show at all. Most people I know would not be able to leave their job for a total of 4+ months over a 8-9 month period and keep their job.

Yes, Garrett worked as a surgical technology consultant for a company called Arthrex. From what was sleuthed before, he was essentially a consultant/sales person for medical instruments and implants, working with surgeons specifically orthopedic surgeons.

Rachel's law firm held her job for two stints!  Heck, they pushed her to go on Nick's season!  It's good publicity for a law firm, or any firm, I would think. As well Josiah went back to his job as prosecutor but shortly after was brought into a private law firm.

It's not that I don't like them, I cannot STAND them. Phoney Baloney Couple. I give them 6 more weeks. G is going to dump her, he's sick of her already. And I'm pretty "positive" about that, not "negative". laugh out loud (I keep thinking of those "family values" G kept talking about, and I laugh.)

So from the looks of things, Becca was really a cafeteria worker at Skyya.  And prolly G worked in the warehouse of Arthrex operating a fork lift or something like that.  I would have to see what was sleuthed....btw
imo

Just because Rachel’s firm held her job does not mean that is the norm. I also think that would be more likely for a lawyer than most jobs just due to the training time to replace them etc. And Josiah wasn’t gone nearly as long as Becca.

I think they are more real than many of the couples to come from this show. So obviously we see different things. Only time will tell.

@Jane781,
I don’t dislike Becca. I’m sticking to the facts in evidence. There is NOTHING to support the notion that these people are special snowflakes, not positive ones, anyway IMO. They’ve bought the program just like the rest. While some may not think it’s a big deal, Garrett is not just a good guy who made a little mistake he’s sorry for no, IMO . Many people feel differently and it is NOT ok, hence the hesitancy to engage them by any decent company who values their brand,  IMO. The passage of time and continuing image repair efforts may or not help. We will have to wait and see.
As for the opinions you state as fact - I’m not confused, they are conjecture/wishful thinking so, let’s agree to disagree and move on. Time will tell the story soon enough. JMO

If we stick to facts, Becca’s position at Skyya was Senior Account Executive according to her Linkedin and the article linked above. I see no reason to question that.

She has also talked about her relations with the company in a Q&A recently (starting at 1:45). In short, she technically had to quit for the lead role, but she was told that she would be welcome back and encouraged to go (not so different from Rachel IIRC). To me it seems reasonable that if you have a key position at a small firm and go on a 3-6 month leave, the vacancy has to be filled.

Regarding the shilling I don’t think they are above it in any way, and I have seen very few people claim that (and certainly not B&G themselves), so that seems to be a bit of a strawman argument IMO.
I can only speculate on why they have done so little of it yet, but JoJo and Jordan did something similar. Apart from JoJo’s Diff Eyewear line and some furniture store, they did not start shilling until the end of the year. I don’t know why, but Diff is a common factor.

I am sure that Garrett’s IG behavior has affected his “market value”, but Becca’s by association? No way IMO.
All JMO

@Astrobach  Isn’t she just following DHS, along with a bunch of media companies? Seems work related to me.

Thanks for the clarity in job history. So she does have a good work history. That’s a foundation to help find a new job.
I don’t think in response to Garrett not having a LinkedIn acct etc that means anything more than he may simply choose not to have one. Jmo

I agree totally about job holding. Regardless of situation, and imo going on a reality to show is very low on the totem pole for good reasons to take a job sabbatical.  I do believe numerous cast have beeen released from prior jobs and perhaps the releasing has been sugarcoated when retold to the public.
just for the record: this is a discussion thread. For members confused, please review our rules. Discussion= good, bad and/or ugly. I don’t get why this has to be repeated so often. This is a sore spot with me. Commenting, shaming, baiting other members for their views or opinions is not tolerated.
