don't worry. I don't think anyone believed for a minute that Shawn was invited to that wedding and Kaitlyn wasn't also welcome. Most men would consider that the perfect excuse to get out of going.

IMO a woman who knows how to drive but, doesn't bother to get her driver's license in the country where she lives for YEARS has severe dependency issues. Nashville is not NYC. IMO, Real women make sure they can get around. We make sure we're not always waiting around, depending on someone else to pick us up or, drop us off. We don't buy a car and let it sit for a whole year because we have no license. So, who's driving it? If she can drive and has been technically refusing to for all this time, there is nada, zero, nothing commendable about that. All IMO

It sounds like you’re getting bad information about her not driving from somewhere. She has been driving her car, she also drove Shawn’s car before buying her own car. I assume she had a Canadian license. It probably expired, or she’s been living in TN long enough to require a TN license, so she got a Tennessee license this month. (It also helps to have a DL with your home address on it for various ID purposes.)

If I've made a wrong assumption, I regret that. I really don't know any more than what has been said here. I've never followed them anywhere else. What you're saying now is not consistent with what's been said here. I don't know what's true and it doesn't matter. Who's driving? is a question she obviously finally figured out how to answer.

Kaitlyn has had a license and has been driving this whole time. She is getting a US license. She might be dependent or whatever, no idea, but this driving thing is nonexistent.

Exactly, Alanna. She's been driving all around Nashville ever since she moved there -- both in Shawn's Jeep and her own. I think her Canadian license probably expired and she needed to get a TN one to replace it.

Right after the bachelorette aired Kaitlyn drove more than Shawn did, I wondered if he was the one with the drinking problem.

I think he does or had in his own way- he became super aggressive/angry on multiple occasions iirc and didn’t handle it well.

I highly doubt that Shawn has a drinking problem. Just because K was the one driving most of the time does not mean that S has a drinking problem. I think they both enjoyed that part in the early stages of their relationship but he is into being fit so I highly doubt he drinks much now. JMO

I don't know if he had a drinking issue, but I do absolutely think he had an anger management issue (remember that story where he got into it with a girl for taking a pic and Kaitlyn had to apologize for him?) and drinking probably made it worse. Shawn just keeps his dirt on the DL, so it gives this illusion that he's all perfect and Kaitlyn's the crazy, dysfunctional one. When they've both got their issues, IMO. 

Lots of fit people drink (in excess), btw. Remember Chad?

He is not Chad and the way Shawn is into fitness I highly doubt that he drinks that much theses days. He might have a anger problem but since I do not know them personally I will not jump to any gossip or conclusions.JMO

Agree! Chad is the poster boy for the contradiction that many "fit" people represent. I love it when people truly do treat their bodies as temples but, many claim to do that and then they take steroids or, excessive enemas, purges and cleanses, run or workout with injuries, drug, drink or fast excessively. "Fit" is an ambiguous term. We don't know these people. We just try to glean what we think we can learn from flags. JMOs

Thanks for posting. I thought about that when I first read the comment of K not being invited because it was a small wedding. He was on her season! and I've never met anyone who deliberately invited one person to a wedding and not their SO. If that was the case, Ben and Jared should have been invited and not Ashley IMHO.

I call BS on Jared and Ashley being invited as a couple. IMO, they just used the excuse that they weren't able to go because she wasn't invited.

Why do I say this... because the poster on reddit whose friend was in the wedding said her friend told her that her long-time boyfriend was not invited. No one got a "+ 1" invitation. It was a very small wedding/reception. Honestly if I would have been that bride, I probably wouldn't have invited either Ashley or Kaitlyn either. Why invite drama into your day since both of them tend to want all the attention... IMO.

That has lead to much discussion on that sub about weddings that do not have "+1" invitations to their single guests. Quite a few posters have said that this is happening more and more. Most of the time is comes down to money for the couple getting married. I'm past the age of going to constant weddings but the last few weddings I was invited to, I did not get a "+ 1" on my invitation.
