First time ice fishing up at Krugerfarms.com!! So cool walkin on a lake. Hope we catch some!

Paige Duke Didn't fall through but only caught one crappie Haha! Still so fun. I used Minnows for bait and another guy had a spoon on. Jenna- it's called hipstamatic and it's sooo cool!

hmmm, so it is the barn that is missing. Does that mean that she chose a city guy? or at least a city guy that use to be a country guy??

jmo, But maybe it is due to the fact they are not taping at Oak Hollow Farm in Fairhope, where Seasons 1 & 2 were taped. The barn at Oak Hallow was where the finale took place. They are taping Paige's season in Pointe Clear, Alabama. which is 5 miles northeast of Fairhope.

The third season of “Sweet Home Alabama” will be the first to feature a star who’s not from Alabama: CMT has revealed that the woman at the center of the action will be Paige Duke, who appeared in the show’s second season.

CMT’s Season Two biography for Duke described her as hailing from Lancaster, S.C., a part-time model and veterinary technician and “a former ambassador for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.”

Duke’s job as Miss Sprint Cup came to an end in the summer of 2011 when nude photos of her surfaced on the Internet and caused a stir. Duke said the photos had been taken years earlier, when she’d given them to her boyfriend at the time.

While the scandal wasn’t addressed in great detail in the second season of “Sweet Home Alabama,” Duke did describe the situation as a betrayal that she was working to overcome.

CMT has yet to release many details of the show’s third season. It will premiere Friday, Jan. 13, and will feature a cast of men divided between “country boys” and “city guys.”

Lancaster native Paige Duke looking for love on CMT show

LANCASTER, SC (WBTV) - After a year of ups and downs, Lancaster native Paige Duke is back in the headlines and looking for love on reality television.

County Music Television (CMT) has announced that Duke will be the newest bachelorette on it's reality show Sweet Home Alabama.

The show will pit country boys against city boys as more than twenty guys will vie for Duke's attention and love.

She was a cast member on Sweet Home Alabama's second season, which ended earlier this month.

"The idea from this show stems from the movie 'Sweet Home Alabama' where a country girl, Reese Witherspoon, is torn between a country boy and a city boy," Duke said in a blog on her website when she announced she was taking part in the second season.

"I found out about the show because Tribble Reese, a guy I went to Clemson with (played on the football team), was tweeting about it. It turned out to be such a funny show and I loved the concept- the whole country vs. city thing adds so much more to it," Duke blogged.

While she didn't make the final cut, Reese - who also happened to be season two's bachelor - told WBTV that he is hoping that she finds what she is looking for.

"Paige is a true country girl and I have known her since our days at Clemson," Reese told WBTV. "It didn't work out between us on the show, but I know that she will make one of these guys, city or country, a happy man."

Reese also has connections to the Carolinas. He played football at Clemson University and was a quarterback with the Carolina Speed, Charlotte's indoor arena football team.

Duke says Z-1 Modeling agency in Chester, SC approached her about auditioning for the show.

"After completing a few interviews and a ton of paperwork I flew down to Alabama," she said. "I packed as many cowboy boots as I could and was ready to show the world what a country girl is made of!"

In her blog, Paige admits that looking for love on a reality show wasn't her first choice.

"I have always kind of laughed at shows [...] when the girls start crying when they are sent home. My mindset was ‘Boo Hoo, you've known this guy for like what, a week.' LOL!" Duke blogged. "I'm sure several of you feel the same way. However, because this show was on CMT (I LOVE country music) and a competition not only for the guy, but between country vs city, I decided to do it."

Duke, a native of Lancaster, is a former ambassador for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, serving as one of three Miss Sprint Cups.

Duke lost her job as Miss Sprint Cup in June after graphic images of her surfaced from 5 years ago when she was in college.

"It was the worst day of my life. I thought the world was ending," Duke said. "I didn't know where to go. I was shocked.... I was hopeless."

Duke has used the situation as a learning tool and hopes to talk with young people at local schools about her situation in the future.

"I figured if I hadn't been fired as Miss Sprint Cup, I would have never been able to take advantage of such a great opportunity," Duke said in her blog.

"The Lord had placed this in my path for a reason and I was so excited on that flight to Alabama. Not only could I possibly meet a future boyfriend, but I had another outlet to share my story to other girls in hopes they don't make the same mistake, and I wanted to show the world I didn't get knocked down for good!"

But for now, she's looking for love.

According to her biography on CMT's website, Duke considers herself a "true southern girl at heart."

She currently works at a hunting farm in Minnesota, and is a part-time model and veterinary technician.

CMT kicks off another season of its reality dating series, Sweet Home Alabama, with former NASCAR spokesmodel, Paige Duke, premiering Friday, Jan. 13 at 9 p.m. And The Hollywood Reporter has a first look at the upcoming third season.

Duke, a former ambassador for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, will have an eclectic new bunch of bachelors trying to win her Lancaster, S.C.-born heart.

Though she’s currently working at a hunting farm in Minnesota, Duke’s had a taste of the limelight and it may not take too much convincing to get her to move to the big city with the right man. But, the right man may just be a country boy through and through and they’ll have to convince her that sticking to her roots is what will really make her happy.

In THR’s first look video from the upcoming season, city and country collide as the guys vie for Duke’s heart. And while the southern belle decides whom she wants to be with, there’s plenty of trouble brewing between the men as cultures clash at the homestead.
