I'm sure at some point (in the near future) production will push for a city "person" to be the F1 of a season which will in turn allow for a city "person" to take the position of the lead.

ETA: I don't think they will just jump into new things but rather slide into them. IDK I feel like some people will have a hard time watching if they up and change the show rather quickly without slowly transitioning other outcomes and possibilities. I think after having 2 southern leads picking two southerners they will push for a city win. Maybe Paige will be the one who switches it up but I doubt it will happen this season.

I hope SHA keeps the emphasis on good values - I'm not as conservative as some of the southerners they've portrayed but I do enjoy sincere, real people. A couple that enjoys the kids at Fairhope like T & T - very heartwarming and gives us positive vibe about the future. That's why the show fan base is growing and the Bachelor's is dropping off. Paige is already known a bit for some photos so that may be harder with SHA 3, but she seems to have learned and may be a good blend of sexy and sincere at the same time. Should be good.

This show is huge down here in the south. The show is produced in Nashville and taped in the country settings in Alabama. Judging from the responses on SHA and Tribble's facebooks, TPTB saw alot of ticked off comments from many fans when someone posted he picked Jackie. TPTB are not going to bite the hand that feeds them this early on, with production of only the 3rd show. It's all about ratings, sponsors and viewership.

They had 700,000 viewers for first season with Devin, with probably 75-80% southern demographic. (nothing near the 9+millions for MF bach. shows).

Has anyone seen the ratings yet for Tribble? I hope it surpassed that so they keep up the franchise. Maybe it will change eventually. I watch CMT alot and the majority of the shows have a southern or country flair to them.

I tried to find the ratings for this show and they never were available. My guess was it had to be moved to Friday nights because the ratings were not as good as they were during Devin's season. Usually shows only get moved a couple episodes into a season if the ratings are not what they had hoped for. I thought their Dallas Cowboys show was a ratings hit so when they moved it I thought it was weird too.

I will look this up and see what I can find out about the finale ratings last night.

This season had to be watched though otherwise they would not have had a season 3.

I can see Paige totally picking a real cowboy if they cast one, like Cody. Most of them are not ready to settle down though, but there's always the exception in everything. Paige is 100% country-southern, whereas Devin was 100% southern, and very little country, same as Tristan & Tribble ~ there is a difference. I doubt Paige was ever Tribble's type. If she picks a city guy, he will be more of the blue collar type, and a hunter for sure, like she is. Nothing wrong with that. jmo
