Bachelorette 14 - Becca Kufrin - Episode 9 - July 23rd - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

Think that maybe he will be a shoo-in for next Bach, think that Blake may well be too distraught.

This may not be a popular opinion but I’m not sure Becca did Jason any favors by repeatedly saying he was the best kisser, most recently “the best kisser in the entire world.” I don’t think it did Arie any favors back in the day. Women will be constantly throwing themselves at him, the media will be very interested in whoever he dates, he’ll invariably make some mistakes along the way that the media will jump on, and the women he dates will have to deal with all the women coming on to him. Honestly she only needed to tell him that she enjoyed kissing him. Maybe I’m making too much of it and I could see many saying it’s a problem most men would love to have, but it’s a lot to put on someone who may not want to deal with it.

Have to consider the source, too—Becca. Lol. Just saying. He may be a good kisser, but that is subjective. Jmo

@kashathediva true but Becca spent a good amount of time kissing Arie, and whatever else anyone wants to say about him, he was a pretty damn good kisser and very romantic. So I think when she says Jason is the best in the world the girl is in a good position to judge.

I guess what I mean is Becca having been in a 7 yr long term, relationship, may not have a long list of good kissing candidates. That doesn’t take away from the possibility that he could be the best kisser in the entire world, but lends me personally to believe it’s just another one of her OTT ways— kind of like throwing her head back and other OTT(IMO) expressions.

It’s certainly OTT to say it over and over again, I agree. That was my original point, that I’m not sure it was in his best interest for her to do that. Whether he is or he isn’t is a matter of opinion as you say but splashing it all over TV may end up making life harder for him rather than easier. And her goal should be to not make anybody’s life harder than it has to be once they are eliminated from this show.

Yeah, I think she’s none too bright personally.

I can’t help but notice ...look where we are, discussing Becca and Jason kissing ! Do we have a ‘ crickets’ emoji! Hahaha ...
I agree with Kasha, that she may not have had a great variety of good kissers with her limited relationships, and she suddenly has so many guys around her and so much kissing from Leo to Garrett, Clay, Jean, Blake, Wills, Chris, Colton, Jason, etc. Am I missing anyone...? so for her to highlight Jason being a good kisser ( and be all giddy about it repeatedly) shows that they indeed had chemistry, and maybe it surprised her more than she expected or wanted. And, of course, the producers are going to totally hang on that and exploit what was probably just a genuine comment at first, to validate and justify his position as F3 since they cut so much of their many early interactions.
I also agree it’s a double edge sword now for Jason as it will be a point of reference that he can’t escape. My view is that when you REALLY like somebody, you are likely to a) kiss them with more feeling, b) the recipient will likely feel that too . Meaning that if you do not like someone, you can be technically good at kissing, but the chemistry will not flow the same. It takes two to tango as the saying goes. Ok, done with my kissing ramblings....

I can see it now on the next Marriage Boot Camp!

Garrett - has serious issues being compared to Jason's kissing and can't come to terms with it.

Becca would never admit it if she felt Arie was the best kisser ... not in a million years. I’ll take one for the team .... volunteer to kiss both and then get back you guys (insert cougar emoji)
