Everything about Blake is just too much, too soon for me. Probably a nice guy in real life, but it seems like he’s doing and saying things for the show and not Becca, IMO.

To some extent, Blake is wearing rose colored glasses when it comes to his and Becca's relationship. I feel for him.

He also had worked there and knew the facility inside out.  Thankfully, we never needed to put it to use while I still worked there.
