I am not sure where the "too sensible" come from. Yes she is caring, yes she has difficult past and very heartful but I think she is compationate, not to be mistaken with too sensible IMO. If she was too sensible, she would not be able to do her job with youth in dificulties. It takes a lot of strength to do this kind of job. Too sensible would not be the best way to help those kids imo
It comes from my impression of Brooke. She seems sensible to me. Sensible means thoughtful, responsible, not prone to making rash decisions. All qualities which would be an asset in her role as a youth worker. Also qualities I could see making her hesitant to accept the role of Bachelorette, hence my comment that she may be too sensible to take it on. You need to be slightly nuts to let these producers into your life and family IMO, and to allow the editors shape how you'll be seen by the world.

Thank you for your explanation. Too sensible can also be taken as a weakness. I see it was not the case in your mind. I hope she will refuse if asked. I hope she will use her popularity for the goods of her community which is I think why she did the gig, for exposure. Anyway, we'll see if she is still a great genuine girl after the show eh? I think so but who knows?

So if she is good for bachelorette, then she is no good for Nick? That is weird. Right now she is like Tara, the australian sweetheart. Tara was never cast to be next bachelorette and I do not think Brooke was cast to be next bachelorette either. IMO
Brooke's out of Nick's league and he knows it, IMO.
Tara was TPTB's choice for next Bachelorette, but she refused to do it, after the way they edited her brother on HTDs. She talked about it here. She also said she knew she couldn't hurt people in the way a Lead is required to do. I agree with her and don't think she'd have made a good Lead.
Brooke IMO has all the qualities to make a very desirable Lead (in contrast to someone like, oh I don't know, Ali Oetjen) however that's a double edged sword, since she's probably also too sensible to take it on. I'd love to see who they match her up with though and I'd definitely watch her season.
tara was not cast to be next bachelorette... they proposed her because she became Australia sweetheart (probably seeing how much $$ they will take out of it). If I am wrong, please do not hesitate to share me the link where it was sleuthed.

But if Brooke decide to accept the gig, I will be extatic as I will truly like the lead and this did not happen since Ashley/JP... But I still stand to think that recycling is a major error.
I will disagree with you on a couple of points @HEA.
I think when referring to Brooke as being sensible, it is in regards to her being too smart to take the Bette gig. Having to deal with the manipulations of producers and the inevitable SM hate that results.
Also, I work in a similar field to Brooke and you do have to be sensible. There is no such thing as too sensible. You have to have a handle on your emotions, because if you get emotionally involved, you end up not being able to do your job. You can be empathic, but you have to be sensible enough to maintain a degree of professional detachment or you will burn out.

@Sprite
This is what I said... you need to hold your poop to do her job. Caring is necessary
And too sensible is a translation issue. In French it means sensitive... which is different of course

Do you think the key suite given on episode 1 is the equivalent of the first impression rose or the white rose?

I think it is a bit of like the white rose because you get the advantage of time with the lead. The difference is the white rose was good for the season whereas the key can only be used once.

I remember only one white rose with Matty J right? it was used in the garden?

@HEA on Richie’s season there was a white rose which went to his F1. The strangest thing about that season was how they edited the F1 Alexandra. She came across very desperate and ott; totally in it to win it.HEA wrote:Sprite wrote:HEA wrote:Do you think the key suite given on episode 1 is the equivalent of the first impression rose or the white rose?

Yeah that fits with what I've been hearing/reading too. Quite possible he picks Britt but they split up shortly after IMO. He definitely has the aura of a single man IMO.
Has anyone heard him refer to his F1 in an interview? The only fill radio interview I listened to said he was "really happy" but that may just mean he's happily single.
By this stage of Matty's season he was doing loads of interviews with hosts trying to pick who wins. I haven't seen anything like that with Nick, which is pretty suss...
The main feeling I get from Nick is of a man who just wants this whole charade to be over so he can get on with his freewheeling life. He's been good to watch though.
