Bachelorette 14 - Becca Kufrin - Episode 4 - June 18th - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

I hope Garrett's ex speaks out so that we can hear her side of it. After Amanda Stanton criticized her ex on the show, Nick spoke out publicly. So hoping the same will happen in this case.

Didn't Garrett say they dated a year and a half, engaged 1 year? They were on a honeymoon for 2 weeks and just 6 weeks into the marriage back at home, he calls it quits. The "emotional abuse", had to have occurred in the 2 and half years before the wedding, so why did he go thru the wedding? That is crazy. For a marriage to last 2 months, there is blame on both sides, imo. And Garrett seems off to me from the beginning. I would never be interested in someone like him. CH is so funny - Garrett is moving very fast!! There must be a lot we are not seeing between Becca and Garrett bc so far I'm not seeing much, yet they are really falling for each other! Just one date, they hardly know each other, and their date was a hectic one (not romantic during the day no time to talk much). Becca was in a 7-year relationship, Garrett 3-year one. So i'm not believing they are "falling in love" after one date. They acting is so so so bad this season.

Becca's the worst actress, I'm not feeling her emotions at all, yet she was so mean to Jean Blanc for doing the same thing. She's so fake, imo, even with Arie. Jean was right, that's what the show is all about now. This season is so bad, imo.

And she cancelled the cocktail party? At this early stage, shouldn't she be trying to get to know the guys as much as possible. To grab every chance she can to talk to them? It's one thing to know who you're going to send home (Mike and Ryan), but if I were falling for a few guys, I would look forward to talking to them at the cocktail party!! (Of course, I'm mad because I wanted to see more of a couple of guys (Blake and Jason) and feel very deprived ) but I've never seen a cocktail party cancelled this early in the season before. More evidence she's not really into any of them...IMO

I sometimes  wonder is it always the bachelorette or bachelor decision to cancel the cockail party I know they say that on the show but sometimes I think tptb do it for the drama jmo

I think it’s insane, insane to 100% blame the other person even if you feel like it’s true. Just pretend to be gracious and contrite if you have to. He’s a dummy imo but no one, no one should be as gullible and idiotic as Becca to just accept everything her man says as gospel. All imo.

I found it odd last night when his explanation was exactly what the anonymous source said about him. That's well before the epi aired and she would have no knowledge of what he said during filming.

Becca is sooooo infatuated with Garret, I feel like there's no way she was able to stay open to the other guys even the tiniest bit. Total tunnel vision.

I think every Bachelorette is basically like that. They all tend to fall immediately and passionately for a guy on night one and don't stray from that, no matter what the red flags or obstacles, unless he leaves himself. The only  exceptions I can think of are Emily, Trista, and Rachel, who actually did seem to be open to multiple people.

Garrett is the one that brought her into this by calling her emotionally abusive ...
He could have simply said it just wasn’t going to work and so he left .... nobody would care about her ..
Just like we really don’t care who the girl was Wills s used to date ... by painting himself a victim to get Beccas sympathy ... he’s the one to shoulder this one ... Not the tabloids IMHO

@Aria Yeah, I guess. Maybe they've hidden it a little better though. Makes for very boring TV!

Btw What did Colton call Jordan that was beeped out? It looks like Jordan is making the toxically masculine guys feel uncomfortable whereas everyone else (Jason and Wills for example) just find him silly. He's silly, he isn't harming anyone, let him live.

As I recall, RS revealed the ex's name Kayla Cunningham during filming.
