Garrett said his ex emotionally abused him, would build him up and tear him down, constant roller coaster, and caused a rift between him and his family and friends. That's probably the most specific breakup explanation on this show. I remember Jordan Rodgers talking about his ex and said he was too focused on football and making it in the nfl and also flirting with girls when he shouldn't have. I'm sure his ex wasn't a saint but he chose to focus on his part in the breakdown. You don't need to air out your ex's flaws on tv when they didn't sign up for it. He could've said they weren't right for each other, they didn't bring out the best in each other etc. But instead he placed ALL the blame squarely at her feet. That's a red flag imo. Maybe not for his relationship with Becca, but indicative of the type of person he is.
