Garrett Yrigoyen - *Sleuthing Spoilers* - #2

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, and as in every season no one should hesitate to post what they think for fear of not being part of the crowd.

I find a lot of things silly however, I would never call anyone out on their opinions and at the same time, expecting mine to be just as respected.

 I literally spewed my Mango Bubly reading this! I don't care enough about Gross Garrett to site the many examples of him mimicking Becca, but she seems to luv it IMO.She repeats the same nonsense to GG as she did to Arie - funny to compare. 

Poor ol' GG. Not the sharpest tool on the farm, oops I meant agricultural business. Thankfully he's had a long time to prepare for the soft lobs CH will toss to him during the ATFR show. In my mind I can hear Rod Stewart singing, his "ad-libbed lines were well rehearsed"...  Is it Monday yet?

It's the same every season. F2 is fabulous. F1 is terrible and how could they choose him/her when F2 is so fab. The pettiness escalates to the point of ridiculousness because everyone is so bored waiting for the end. Then the beloved one becomes the lead and who knew they would make the same sh*ty choices as all the previous leads?

Opinions are opinions, facts are facts. Opinions change and facts stay the same. The people you disagree with today may be the same you agree with tomorrow.

Idk. I don’t care for either of them. One appears a bit driven by mania 25/8 and the other appears like a zombie unless someone winds the key located in his back.

OT the easiest way to delete is select Edit then type delete just like you did in the last post. When we get to it, we'll delete the post.

If you were the last poster, you would then be able to delete by selecting a small X. If someone posts after you, for some reason that option is no longer available.

So I’m posting this on Garrett ‘s thread because it is the most appropriate one I guess but it involves all F4. (Mods should I put it in the SM activity for Becca?)
When I look at each of the IG accounts in the week leading to and following the Finale there were sharp increases as would be expedted, first for Jason after his break up and then Blake after his. Garrett ‘s IG has also gained A LOT of traction after the Finale; and as I was looking at those 3 accounts, it is very clear that there is a vast difference in the subscribers’s messages content and intent. 90 % - or more- of people comments on Blake and Jason were supportive, happy, Fan-like messages. When you start looking at comments on Garret’s IG it’s is transformed into an opinion Forum and mud slinging contest where more than 50 % of comments are actually either criticizing Garrett and / or his choice of Becca as a partner. Or it is used as a platform to respond to other people comments about political and current events. It’s a real contrast that is unfortunately showing how thirsty people are to express their opinion and quick to judge and bash at each other instead of showing tolerance and understanding. I find it extremely sad and deoressing. I know I may be naive to think there can still be respect on SM but wow, the hate is intense.

I think the post is fine here. Let’s just keep the topic on point as much as possible.
IMO this is simply the trend on sm whenever there is a winner/loser situation or where varying opinions are expressed.

Thanks Kasha. So you’ve seen this kind of situation in past contestant.? I have not followed or used SM in all the past seasons that I watched, so it’s still a little new for me, to incorporate into the mix. Quite a change from Joe the Millionnaire days! Hahaha

Chris Harrison called it the mob mentality. Very little is based on fact or really understanding the one they are trying to trample. *imo* No-one attacking Garrett are the people that know him. Those that do know him have said good things about him, including the guys on the show. It does not matter what he says there are those determined to smash him. I was always taught be careful of self righteousness - I am better than you. Sooner or later the judgment you spewed out comes back on you. Someone notices you are not perfect. IMO

Sadly this is typical. Every year. If the edited favourite isn't picked by the lead, there are always those who attack the winner or the new couple. People get too invested or there are those that just like to troll and cause havoc.

Personally, I have never understood the mentality that I...a stranger who doesn't know either of these people and was not there for the filming...know what/who is best for anyone. Sometimes I can barely figure out what is best for me!
