Baby Auggy has changed so much already. In the comments, someone mentions Kevin taking the paternity leave, if so that's terrific. He has a very demanding and dangerous job. What better way to take time off and being with your new son. It looks like they are in Florida spending time with Astrid's family.

Kevin and Astrid did a Q&A on IG the other day, and Kevin said he has 10 months off. Someone asked if they're thinking of moving to Florida and Kevin said they're looking into Florida being in their future in some way, possibly living there part of the year. I can't remember his exact wording.

@alwayscooking thanks for the update!

I don't know what the number of weeks the entitlement are anymore, but there are 18 months for mom's but they can be split between mom and dads. That's terrific he's taking advantage of the parental leave that is available!

It's not unusual for "snowbirds" to spend time south in the winter and I'm sure with Astrid having family there they could eventually buy a condo or a house for the winter months as so many do. A direct flight from Toronto to Tampa is only around 2 1/2 hrs.

She is so sweet and baby Auggy is adorable! So many new mom's are always nervous until they hold their precious baby, then it all come naturally. It's truly amazing.
