RS is full of beans. $100,000 is not standard for the show.

Any compensation that I have head of has been between $60 - $100,000 It is certainly possible that some may have been negotiating more, but the $300 - $500,000 reports are exagerated ego boosts IMO.

If you have $200,000 in school loan debt, $30,000 isnt chump change, especially if you WANT to do the show - which they all do.

Jake and Matt Grant were both paid $60,000 for their seasons. That is not counting DWTS (Jake), teeth (Matt :awesome: ) or appearances and such. If you will notice, these young stars are not making any expensive purchases. The two that got married were both able to buy new homes.

The stars are paid in three segments ~ before filming, once airing and after the last show (a good way to keep the reins on them during the media tour is to hold onto their last paycheck).
