Bachelor 22 - Arie Luyendyk Jr - Episodes - Mar 5th FRC ATFR - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

I think they could make it.

This is my perspective alone. I have pretty much given up the bachelor and BiP, Ben drew me to his finale with the two ILYs and now Arie to the last two weeks of his for his compound stupidity, IMO. Why? Because I am always curious to watch when people do things that are so outside the dull pattern of this ridiculous show. I was curious how Ben would make it out of two ILYs. I got lucky and found out that I actually liked JoJo after finding her annoying in pre-season.

I am curious to see how Arie can justify all his selfish behavior and honestly very curious just why Lauren takes him back. The same curiosity I had for Molly with Jason.

I didn't like Jason either and skipped all but his last week. I didn't get why Molly would take him back. I still think Jason was d*** lucky that Molly decided to take him back. I think she could have done much better, but that is my opinion and she is happy so good for them.

I am truly curious how a woman who dumped a fiancé for not treating her will takes back the dork who dumped her and proposed to another woman.

And yes, I see differences between the one timers, the repeat as lead people - who then get out and make a real life, and the repeat lead who falters after the show and keeps living off being lead, and the serial appearers. They differ to me in degrees of getting lost in this bachelor world. It is okay with me if others don't feel that way. Just my own seeing shades of grey.

BTW, I don't feel bad making fun of the people who go on this show, maybe that makes me horrible, but I enjoy laughing at them. I don't do this to people in real life, but when you chose to make yourself and your life a spectacle then I feel no guilt on making fun of it on boards such as this. I don't hunt out their SM and troll, because to me that crosses a line. Again those shades of grey. Honestly, it kind of makes me laugh a bit when people say that is horrible, as to me it is better to laugh at the stupidity to those who show it off on national tv and save my empathy and compassion for those who are hurt by this cruel world. But that is the great thing about this board, we are all allowed our own opinions and perspective with only a few rules, such as the all important, not attacking our fellow posters and making sure to differentiate opinion from statements of fact.

Thanks to the mods for keeping this place fun and allowing all those shades of grey.

I remember when Andi and Josh were on the red carpet for ChrisS season being interviewed by CH and they were saying they had to taste test the food for their wedding. Three days or so later, the announcement that they split was splashed everywhere.

I remember when sleuthers had ChrisS pegged on his relationship or lack of with Whitney.

I remember when Des chose Chris, the tabloids went bonkers accusing her of settling.

There is a long list of examples, and that's why I don't bet on the length of anyone's relationship.

I'm expecting you all to post some good commentary and snark since I will be refreshing this thread for the rest of the night

The only way they work is if Lauren doesn't care if he cheats on her because I would place all my money on he will. JMO

I’m here because this is a ridiculous distraction to real life. At the end of the day does any of this matter to anyone? No. It shouldn’t. The world is upside down sometimes, and it’s stress relief to think about idiot Arie and his dumb a$$ predicament for a little while and pretend like that’s some major issue (it isn’t) instead. It’s just a good distraction.

Good luck to all 3 of them. I’m sure Becca will make a just fine Ette. Arie and Lauren will enjoy their ride for however long they are together. The world will go on. I still don’t understand why everyone and the show is making this to be some huge “never before seen” deal... when it has been seen. This is literally a rerun, a repeated script. Time was good for Jason and co. I imagine time helps Arie too.
