I’m still not sure what to make of this season and why he changed his mind.  When Jason did it, I knew why immediately ...Melissa wasn’t who he thought she was ...period.

I like all 3 ...Arie, Becca and Lauren.  I see them all sincere in their feelings.  Personality wise I think I prefer a Becca but that doesn’t mean I don’t like Lauren too... they’re just different personalities.  

All I can come up with is that it came down to 2 of the 3 fears he mentioned to Becca .... that he was going to choose someone who didn’t choose him back and that he’d choose the wrong person.   I think he wanted Lauren more but worried too much about her insecurities....and then he chooses the girl that was the safer choice and who seemed to be all in... which he regretted almost immediate.  

The multiple I Love you’s to both girls is him compartmentalizing each relationship like he mentioned he was doing during the HTD to a family member... I don’t like him saying that but I guess it’s how he felt at the time.  I’ve loved 2 men at the same time, so I do get it .... but I’d never admit it to a tv camera

It’s amazing (haha) how much he said it to Becca. For all those years he never said it, he’s surely cramming it in now.
I know two years ago it was all over the tabloids ! And yes, hardly a blink of the eye now. Ita that the presses are revving up for bigger news. Didn’t Ben get asked over and over about his two confessions ? Would love to hear what happens in Scottsdale .

I was always confused why they made such a big deal of that, when Kaitlyn had done it the season prior. Rachel did it last season (I think she even told Eric she loved him?) and Arie has been throwing around the world love like it's going out of style.

If becca is bachette, which i am hoping for then tptb better not let Ross and Arie show up on it! she needs to leave those losers in her past #Yougogirl.... the only person i would like to see show up again is Rachel Zoe oh and maybe peter just for sh!ts and giggles - jmo

I honestly like both Lauren and Becca. They are complete polar opposites though. One is very extroverted and free flowing and the other lives in her head and chooses her words carefully as you’re not getting many. I really hope Arie is genuinely interested in Lauren for her sake. I think she genuinely loves him and took a chance taking him back. There’s going to be backlash, which he deserves but not her, so at the end of the day I hope it works out for her whatever that may be.

As far as Becca I hope she finds her JP.

This is well said. I too like Becca and Lauren. They’re polar opposites, but both seem to be very sweet. I doubt we’ll get it, but I would like to see them together and interacting on Monday or Tuesday. It seems like they’ve both been mature enough to not place blame on each other.

I agree with this. I don't know if Ben set a precedence on his season or what. I don't care if the lead is falling for two people, saying ILY should be reserved for the proposal. I don't care how strongly production 'encourages' the ILY's, when there are two ILY's being thrown around, someone is going to be completely blind-sided on the day of the FRC. It builds up false hope, and wow, how could you ever trust someone again. It seems odd that these ILY's from Ben, and now Arie are both on camera too, so it certainly make you think it's being encouraged.

Did we see K say it? I thought Nick is the one who squealed on K in the limo exit?

Rachel said it to Dean, as if she was saying it to a friend.

Ben blurted it out like he almost forgot his lines.

I don't even get why he's worried about Lauren not being all in, because it seems like she even literally tells him that she's all in and wants to spend her life with him during their date next week. She keeps talking about fears, but she's never actually talked about leaving or having doubts about her feelings for him. And, it seems like the ex coming back actually made him doubt Becca more than anything, since he said there must be something there for Ross to think she would say yes. 

From this episode, his feelings for both girls seemed equal to me so I just can't tell anymore what was going on in his head.

Honestly... the way I see it, Arie is much more intrigued and into Lauren. I think I would feel that way even without spoilers. She’s holding just enough close to the vest to keep him wondering and he’s into her. I don’t really see that same level of interest with Becca. I think he initially chose Becca partially cause she is so extroverted and open, it was a “safer” choice. Add in this boyfriend, and it makes him think she is in high demand. Gives him competition. He shouldn’t have said ILY to either. He was clearly super confused and not in a place to commit to either.

When it's (ILY) is thrown around as much as it is on this show and the franchises, it becomes diluted IMO and begins to mean about as much as the engagements.
