If I was F1 (and confident and outgoing and *insert whatever adjectives you perceive here*), I'd be MUCH more confident to be trawling social comments and defending myself, knowing that I was going to come out on top in the end and the 'haters' might be more inclined to suck up their negativity.

When I read how Matty texted his 'number one' to let her know about the paps, my immediate thought was how considerate is Matty that he cares so much for the woman he chose to let her know not to worry about what she read. And this is the exact reason I refute claims that Laura is confident. A confident person generally isn't insecure enough to misinterpret a pap photo or to defend themselves on social media. IMO Laura is overbearing not confident.

To be honest anybody that's trawling social media and contesting negative comments is very insecure - winner or not. Laura has also shown she is shameless in promoting her brand through social media so she wants to reap the benefits but is unwilling to suffer the bad side. I feel sorry that people are being cruel and frankly its astounding that people feel the need to talk rubbish about strangers but that's the double edge sword with fame and if you go on TV like this you are chasing some form of imfamy.
