Bachelor 22 - Arie Luyendyk Jr - General Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

The best spoiler is RS knows the type of guy Arie is. Really? Really? Taking off my church lady Dana Carvey glasses. SMH. I guess Chantal's gramma will not be passing Arie any cranberries then or maybe she would?

Someone needs to tell NotARealMan Steve that the sleuthers here figured it out already and @EagleEye put a cherry on top, last night.

JMHO - RS is not GOD!!! He does not know Arie!! They are not BFF! He has heard stories, is not the same as knowing first hand. If Arie feels he is ready and Becca is the one, they could get married tomorrow for all he knows. At this point, he is irritating making pronouncements on other people's lives. When will he start living his own?

I have high hopes for Becca and if she has real chemistry with Arie, they will go the whole way. If not, HTG is strong and will go on.

I'm honestly very curious as to who the next bachelorette lead will be. I'd say it will be between Lauren and Tia because RS confirmed in his spoilers this morning Kendall never got a 1 on 1 date all season. I personally don't think they would give the lead to someone who never got a 1 on 1 date because we don't know a ton about that person.
If I had to guess I'd say abc is probably considering Lauren and Tia for the next lead. I personally hope it's not Tia because it just doesn't seem realistic or fair because she is only on this show because of Raven. I have nothing against Tia cause I don't know her but that's my take on why she got as far as she did.

Deanna never got 1-1 and she became the lead.
Did Juan ever get a 1-1? Don't remember.

Personally, I don't feel it's fair to view Tia because of Raven. Jason was not viewed because he knew Bevin. JoJo was not viewed because she knew Jake. I think each cast person needs to be viewed as they are and letting their own self unfold. 
My understanding of most of RS' ire toward Arie has to do with the pranks Arie's then teenaged twin brothers supposedly pulled on RS, foiling him from getting spoilers on Arie during Emily's season(5 yrs ago!) vs anything recent.

I don't think we can rule Kendall out so quickly. She might have that certain j'ai ne cest quois. She made it to final 4 without a 1;1, there must be something about her. I feel she is definitely in the running.

@sdmom  No, Juan Pablo did not have a 1:1.

It could also be the other girls had so much not going for them not to make it to the final 4. Just a thought.

@Kashathediva, that is drama that will keep us glued to our tv........

I'm not saying she (Kendall) is not in the running for the next lead but it's odd that if they wanted her to be the next lead I think she probably would have gotten a 1 on 1 date. She definitely has a chance a being considered I just meant in terms of the audience connecting to her it might be difficult if we're seeing all these other girls Tia, Lauren and Becca have 1 on 1 dates VS her never getting one it's going to seem and feel weird.

Since she makes it to F3, she has a storyline and we'll get to see SQT on group dates, HTD, FS, etc.  So IMO we'll know enough about her for her to have fans and some to want her name on the list for lead.  As others have mentioned, there were enough that felt like they new Deanna and JPG to want and ask for them as leads.  Besides a few of the names in the past that were in contention made me wish we knew less about them so I personally don't see it being all that weird or strange for her to be considered for or potentially becoming lead.  Now a girl from night one becoming lead, that would be a little odd, but not anyone the F4 or even F6, IMO.

I know there tends to be a lot of skepticism about Arie and his motives and sincerity, but I truly have zero doubt that he's going to be a great and loyal partner to the right woman -- hopefully that's Becca!
