Totally imo. But I think he'll do a great job and will win over the public and the girls.

please don't get me wrong I love Arie. I just feel like he wasn't their first choice. I'm happy he older and establishedand ready to be married. I'm sure his contestants will be older no crazy party girls.

The girls will like him once they realize his Dad is rich and famous.  I see walls and Indy car racing dates in our future

I am not t really surprised it's him at all. I called it out halfway joking a couple days ago but really ithey had no other choice in the last couple seasons with the duds they have been casting, therefore Arie made sense to me.

I guess I don't view Arie as a last resort.  IMO, Peter would have been a last resort.  It would have been a looooooong arduous journey, and they knew that.  Ugh, his scenes with Rachel were the most dreadfully, painful to watch in the history of the franchise.  How could a man like that carry a season, he can't.   JMO of course

Great interview with Strahan.  He's a natural.

I am not too familiar with Arie (didn't watch Emily's season), but I am glad at least the new Bachelor is not any of the duds from Jojo and Rachel's season.

You are not alone. This is very disappointing to me. Arie is younger than Nick?? He looks much older than Nick IMO. I would have rather had Ben 2.0 than this guy.

I'm also hoping this will again lead to a slightly older Bachelorette again. They need to stay away from leads who are under 28 at least IMO.

ITA.  Plus in his own words he is "decisive" which is what the lead should be.  Arie is a good choice and timing for TPTB.  I look forward to watching his season.
