BACHELOR 22 - Arie Luyendyk Jr General Discussion - **NO SPOILERS** - *SLEUTHING* DISCUSSION

I'm now thinking after watching ep 1-3 more closely that yes, Krystal is still in there as F1 as of now, or wildcard Bekah as a surprise. I think Chelsea & Becca K are being groomed for the Bachelorette.
I would love a slow burn darkhorse out of the others. I think he is really intrigued by Jacqueline and of course Bekah and I think there is trouble with Tia coming up later (the ex returning?) I don't know what to make of Caroline as she was first out of the limo but got hardly any airtime during ep. 1 M&G & very little screen time on GDs thus far. Although maybe it's Caroline's ex that returns? (the ex has a strong southern accent-Caroline lives in FL and some accents can be thick there)

People who watch Bachelor on city tv .It is on now where I am it started an hour early.

Just thinking about Arie's theme for the season: An older, but C L A S S I C Bachelor from a previous season who is a little weathered and rougher around the edges this time, etc. He also has been quite 'the bachelor" IRL, has a need for speed & excitement (Bekah), but still likes to feel "needed" (Krystal, Chelsea) and craves that close-knit family life he's grown accustomed to (Becca).

Maybe there is something to Bekah's intro...showing how vibrant, young, & energetic she is but also showing her nurturing side with her nanny-charge. She's very young, but also an old soul. With her style and throwback personality, she's giving me a Daisy Buchanan vibe (Great Gatsby).

I think Krystal is too in our face to be F1. I think she will likely be in the F4, but not F1. Too much exposure. Same goes for baby Becca.

As for the other Becca being groomed for the next Bette, I think that is possible. It is also possible IMO that she is F1. She is getting shown a fair amount, but not too much and her edit is stellar thus far. I don't think Chelsea is in the running for Bette. She has had a somewhat villainous edit and too in your face sex edit for the Bette. TPTB seem to like the girl next door for that. Becca fits that better but we shall see.

Here we go. Too bad I forgot it was airing earlier on City. 

Tahoe, hot tubs and more kissing. Becca spills the beans on her age. More hate for Krystal from the ladies....and me. Fake, fake, fake.

At the mansion the ladies are gossiping about baby Becca and her age.
Krystal is gloating about knowing what Arie wants and how he kicked out one of the faceless Laurens.

CH in the house....dropping the travel news....Lake Tahoe. I think they are more excited about the travel then about Arie.

Meanwhile we get a bear and amazing scenery as Arie is surveying his lot in life. Fancy hotel and here come the ladies. It looks beautiful. I could go there.

The ladies have some kind of chalet. Kendall gets the taxidermy room just for her.

Date card....Sienne...let's let our love soar. Excited but also nervous because she could go home.

The man of the hour arrives and tells them he has lots of fun planned for the week....as if.

He picks her up in some monster truck as the other girls are pretending that they aren't hoping she gets eliminated...other than Krystal who flat out is excited at that possibility.

Arie and S are off on some boat.

Sprite- you could be right about K. She is getting a lot of screen time lately.

Arie did tell Becca K that he missed her (ep. 3 during GD) but I don't see him as captivated & excited with her. If she is F1, maybe it will work up to a slow-burn by the end. We aren't being knocked over the head by her so it could bode well for her.

It seems K & little baby Bek are getting more of the sexy-physical edit than Chelsea. She may well be the heartbroken mom F2 & garner a lot of audience sympathy toward the end to be considered next Bachelorette? We shall see.

@agentcurls I don't see him captivated by anyone.

Girls are spying on the date. Apparently they are parasailing.

Chelsea is getting tired of waiting for a date.

The date is "about letting go"...like dating. 

Amazing date. His vocabulary is so limited. Talking about his family and his brother's wedding in Holland. When you know, you know...she says. It's been a long time and she doesn't want any regrets.

This is so amazing.  Nice date. He has absolutely no interest in her. The chemistry is zero.

Meanwhile back at the mansion Maquel gets the news that her grandpa passed away unexpectedly. Crying and packing. Looks like she is leaving...it's not like they had any chemistry or spent any real time together.

The Kim K lookalike thinks she should come back and that Arie would let her. I don't. Go home and stay there until they call you for BIP.

Girls waiting for the date card....and all wanting the single date.

Everyone but baby Becca on the group date. Krystal bitching already.

Back on the date at the Hard Rock café. Having dinner. Parents divorced so a little nervous.

She brings up his last experience on the show. Why hasn't been in love since then. He wasn't putting himself in the position to love anyone....sure, cause you were busy whoring around.

Sienna is so pretty and articulate and deserves so much better than him. He is going on about the conversation being so wonderful with her and yet all I hear from him is clichés. She gets the rose and a perfunctory kiss. Zero chemistry and off they go to another stupid concert date with somebody I have never heard of. They dance and kiss on stage in front of everyone. So awkward and unbelievable....particularly the part where he says he could fall for her.

The kissing bandit is giving them their money's worth.

Tia says she is nervous because there are some savage women here. I believe her.

Krystal carrying on how she is compatible with Arie and the rest not so much. 

Give a rehearsed shout out to Maquel since she had to leave and he is very appreciative of their time.

Survivalist are there to teach the ladies to survive. Kim K is nervous about what they are going to make them do.

First up....drinking your own pee. I would be see you. Yeah I don't believe it for a minute. The bottles are coloured so can't see what is in there. Some stupid women are ready to do it before he says he was just kidding. His had apple juice.
 
Now they are eating bugs. Now Krystal is whining that some of the women are aggressive and this is not her scene. Terrible when the shoe is on the other foot.

Off he goes with ... ???. I have no idea...oh it's Kendall. Make out...shocker.

Now they get gear and maps and are broken into 3 teams. Some are pissed they are not on his team. Shockingly Krystal manages to be on his team.

The other teams are not doing so well. Kim K is busy fixing her hair.

Surprisingly...but not really....Arie's team makes it back first to hang out with Arie in the hot tub. Caroline and Tia are making fun of Arie and Krystal. Love it. Next group shows up and finally the third.

Krystal is whining because she has to fight for his time and she doesn't want to be that kind of girl. Too late!

Back on the date. Krystal scheming.

Arie grabs Lauren. He has a surprise set up...sure. By the fire and he has a fur for her. Same old same old. What is he looking for....independent woman, equal relationship. She thinks she is looking for the same thing so naturally they make out. He is starting to creep me out again.

Now with Kendal|??? She impressed him and challenged him because she ate bugs....naturally. She brought a stuffed duck with her. She is so weird. She wants Arie to meet the duck. They have so much fun...making out. Naturally their chemistry is off the charts and unexpected.

Girls think Kendall will get the rose...Krystal is whining about how the other girls are overbearing to be seen. Pot meet kettle. Kim K calls out Krystal. Chelsea also calls her out....and then does a great imitation ITM.

Now the rest are bitching about Krystal and that she is not genuine...kissing his azz. And here she goes into acting mode. She is so excited about their connection and yet their date was so long ago and she has a target on her back. Woe is her. She is now bitching to him about Tia and Caroline. Now he is kissing her azz. She is bringing out the tears. She is hurt that the others are quick to judge her. I really dislike her.

Tia comes out to interrupt and he tells her to wait a minute. She is so above all this cliquiness. She is floored by the immaturity and the insecurity. She now wants to pull Caroline and Tia aside for a little chat. Such a b*tch and Arie is no better since he is basically encouraging this stupid sh*t. I am finding him unbearable. Horrible lead. Even worse because I expected so much more from him. YUCK. Creep.

Krystal is expressing how her feelings were hurt in the hot tub. Good girl Tia. She gives it right back...now you know how everyone else feels and tells her to stop playing the victim. She is trying the little girl act with the women and Tia is not buying it and she just walks away. I am liking her.

Tia goes to Arie because she thought Krystal was talking about the other women. This never works. None of these women are F1...Tia, Krystal, Caroline. He wants her to have faith and she wants something more than surface attraction...so of course they make out. 

Krystal is back with the ladies and talking about how hard this all is. Back comes Arie...today was amazing but tonight was important because it gave him a chance to get to know them better. Tia was open and vulnerable and she gets the rose. Krystal is p*ssed. She is so above their level. She thought she would be getting it. I could have told her she wouldn't. I would be so happy if he sent her home tonight, but sadly I think she brings too much drama for them to dump her ASAP.

Next day Krystal is whining about the night before. She felt challenged yesterday because it is soooooooo hard being herself without being intimidating to the other women. Boo hoo. Cry me a river b*tch....because she comes across as flawless and that makes her have a target on her back. I'm just waiting for her to say that women hate her because she is beautiful. She feels misunderstood. I don't think so. I think everyone understands you perfectly.

Meanwhile baby Becca is having her date on horseback. She is full of life and seems so mature. They have a great physical connection and she challenges him. Everything seems relaxed and normal. So naturally we can't listen to that but have to hear the others discussing Becca's age.

We find Arie and Becca in the hot tub making out. I know. Who would have guessed? Talking about his first crash. She likes him as a person...not just chemistry. She can see a real relationship. Hmmm...I can't.
