I haven't watched ep. 3 yet, but I've re-watched Becca's & Krystal's dates.

Arie seems very attracted to Becca, but I didn't see that emotional spark between them. Plus, she got the "Pretty Woman" date & I can't remember an F1 having one of those over the top dates with the fancy dresses, jewels, etc.

Arie made a significant emotional connection with K & really spoke about a future with her. He seemed to enjoy the thought of rescuing her & giving her the family she never had. I thought he was quite tender when she spoke of her family history and I saw him reach out and caress the side of her arm when she asked him if her history scared him. I also saw a kind of nervous Arie with her (more soft spoken, sweaty, etc) And he wasn't being as "bandit-y" with her. It also appeared he whispered something in her ear during the slow-dance.

I would say at this point Krystal has him, but I'm not sure how long it will last. Her edit took a dip later in ep. 2 and then it seems to dip more in upcoming eps. with her tension with the younger Bekah. But then F1's don't usually have a squeaky clean edit (like future Bachelorettes).

Chelsea intrigues him now, but I have a feeling once the veil lifts a little he won't be as smitten.

Not sure about the Laurens or Siene just yet. Annaliese seems to do a lot narrating.

I believe Tessa Horst got the royal treatment date with Nicole Miller gowns and jewels on Andy Baldwin's season and she was F1.

Good point! Tessa is still hands-down my favorite female contestant though Joelle on Ben's season gave her a run for her money.

I'm with @albean that Arie is oddly hard to read. Part of me wonders if it's because we don't really know what to look for in him to indicate emotional connection. If a man is truly looking for a wife and not a hook-up, wouldn't he act differently than being a kissing bandit? Since Arie was edited with the F2 physical-chemistry storyline during Em's season, it's hard to know Arie's style when he's in love. He chased Emily, yes, because he was attracted to her; equally, as a race-car driver, he likely wanted to be the chosen one, IMO. I'm open for redirection here.

don't know what to make of this date with Lauren S.....I don't think Arie is feeling it. Foreshadowing seems to point her going home.

Krystal's edit dip just took a full dive. I'm getting a Vienna vibe in the house. Arie seems really smitten with this kitten. I feel like she is acting this way because she is terribly insecure & given her family history, it's not surprising.

hmmm, very awkward exchange with Annaleise. Such a beautiful girl but I don't she is cut out for this process. I don't see her around long.

Love how bold Bekah is! I think she's right about Arie wanting to feel "needed". I see why he is gravitating towards Chelsea & Krystal in this regard.

I noticed that in PI, Arie said he was "becoming more and more attracted to "her" every day." That was said in VO on the couch with Bekah, & ITM PI during Tia's private time. He probably said it only once, but who about? Bekah, Tia, or someone else?

ok, Kendall sneaking in there now. Maybe she sticks around longer?

At this point:
Krystal F1 (based on edit so far-not that favorable, but it hardly is for F1)
Chelsea F2 (heartbroken, but learned so much about herself in the process (foreshadowing to this in his PT with her on the GD ep. 3), maybe next Bachelorette but not sure because she is a little villain-ish)
Becca F3 (almost immaculate edit so far pointing to potential next Bachelorette)

I'm going back & forth between Krystal & Becca being F1. I think Arie will take Krystal to FDs at least. And then part of me thinks Becca will overtake Krystal after that. But right now he seems the most into K.

I think the Bec(k)cas are the best for him in different ways. I'm not sure Arie will take Bekah all the way with Arie's uncertainty. But he sure is enjoying the ride with her!

I look forward to seeing more of him with Kendall, Lauren B, Seinne, & Tia! I'd be pleasantly surprised with a dark horse slow-burn in the mix!

I think it's Tia's old flame who comes back to haunt her. The accent of the mystery guy in the season preview makes me believe this.
