Call me confused, but this is Arie in FRC suit, yes? But this looks like Tacama (for all the sand dates?) This was in first season preview (in the beginning of the preview) that aired before Jan, It was also in second preview that aired ep. 1 but towards the end... Arie walking through the sand in this suit:

Something seems off. Lauren's limo exit isn't an F1 or an F2 edit. That looked like a cute moment. I wish we would have seen it. If it's not Arie, I wondered about it being his dad? I don't think his dad is that tall though. I agree, it would have been at a race, maybe years ago. Looks like she had bangs.

^it could be Arie's dad in that photo...(receding hairline?) If Lauren is a contender, I can't imagine why a more in-depth limo entrance wasn't featured for her?

Something seems awry, but it could be trickery. I wonder if there is a spoiler out there that isn't true or a spoiler that they feel could really mess with ratings/viewership and so TP are working OT on editing? The last 4 seasons of The Bachelor have been unsuccessful flops, I can't imagine they want this one to be a laughing stock.

I watched the preview at the end of "Countdown to Arie" and although it is much like the preview that was out Dec 11, there are a few nuances: no footage of Lauren and Arie on Italy date,  and these VOs that were not featured in other previews:

I think I may have figured out the 2:1, although it seems like too many dates in total next week.

Tonight's preview for next week showed Krystal in that purple velvet top at the same chateau that Kendall is at with the twirl cap, so it's with her. They must have a day and night portion to it?? Has that happened before? Really dragging out the awkward. Krystal is looking out the window at the Eiffel tower. Arie and Kendall are kissing IN the Eiffel Tower.

I enjoyed the episode tonight. Best so far IMO. The bowling date and meltdown after it were my favorite parts. Becca M imitating and confronting Krystal- so funny! I thought he had good chemistry and ease with both Beks tonight. Lauren and Arie had a noteworthy talk during the evening portion of the group date. This is not exact, but close...

Lauren: To be honest, falling for you, but you pick someone else.
Arie: That's valid.
Lauren: What about you?
Arie: Picking the wrong person that doesn't fit with my life after all this.

Also, the one expression to Krystal getting a rose that they didn't show was Lauren's. Maybe he told her before? He seems to be needing to appease her some. All JMO.

Nice work, gracie! Yes, they have had 2:1s that have a day portion and then dinner at night where s/he makes her choice. Think of JoJo with Chase and Dylan. Many of the 2:1s of older seasons had night portions.

From your post, it sounds like there is some forward movement, mostly with Lauren. That's an interesting conversation.

I am starting to think that the show is using conversations, as they have in the past, to foreshadow the end of a relationship and/or the conflict for the couple. That's standard narrative structure: each story has a narrative arc. For this show, when someone's peaks too early, it usually signals that their role is quickly ending. Exhibit A: Krystal.

I agree with you about Kendall likely being F3. When I was trying to make my list of the F4, it was a toss up for me for the F2/3 spot based on his interaction with Kendall and Lauren. The reason I put Kendall F3 is because of her silly edit...taxidermy jokes etc, which by process of elimination left Lauren as F2. If Kendall is on a 2:1 that further cements her F3 spot in my book, however I'm not sure that she is on a 2:1 unless they have two of those.

Why do you think she is on a 2:1? Sorry if you have covered this but I'm sick and my brain is not firing on all cylinders at the moment.

I think because she was most tactfully confrontational with Krystal than the other girls. And I think TP & Arie know Kendall won't be F1, but he is still trying to figure out if Bekah, Becca, or Lauren is, imo. And then the SCs that grace8136 found of Krystal at the same chateau as Kendall
