Bachelor Australia - Season 5 - Matty Johnson - Sleuthing - **NO SPOILERS**

Back at the castle and for the next game the families have sent something important from their childhood and he goes to discuss why.

Elise had some creepy teddy which she abused. Kind of creepy.

Elora had her horse riding medals.

Laura had a polo hat.

Tara had some book she did. 

Simone and her fake ballet shoes. I didn't get this. She is telling him something which isn't true????

Elise had some hats that her and her dad used to wear to go on adventures....and he picks her for the extra time because she values family. She didn't expect him to pick her.

Matty and Elise are talking about importance of family. She is telling him that she feels the spark and he says she wouldn't be here if he didn't feel it. She goes for the kiss and they make out. ITM and he says things between them are moving quickly and it's a good feeling as they continue making out.

This editing is horrible. I feel as if we are not getting anything from these people. They are clearly talking a lot and yet all we get to see is a sentence or two and then making out. Very frustrating as I am guessing we are missing out on a lot.

Cocktail party and back to discussing Simone's not really being a red head and that it was a filter.

Matty pulls Tara for a group chat...none of which we see. This is when Laura comes back and talks about being jealous to watch his connection with others. They all want to talk to him and people are getting a bit nervous/testy.

He is pulling people, but we don't see anything until Elora. He wants to know if she is going to end up in Australia. She says she is ready to settle. Don't see his reaction.

Girls are debating on who will grab him...Laura vs. Elise and Lisa feels trapped between them. This is just so ridiculous. We are not getting any of the talks between Matty and the women. Instead, all we see is them trying to figure out who is going to talk to him.

And we are back to the RC.

Simone is feeling really insecure because she has had the least time.

Laura already has a rose. Six roses to give out and only seven left without. One will go.

Lisa feels their connection has drifted since it's been so long.

Cobie ... looks so awkward.

Simone goes and Matty walks her out. Tells her she is a sweetheart and hopes she finds someone. She thinks he will find someone there. Vey nice. No hysterics.

Tomorrow...boxing. Apparently, Lisa lands a low blow. Elora does something ... looks like trying to pull him at the cocktail party ... and he shoots it down. Hmmm...maybe it will be more interesting tomorrow.

This was a really bad episode IMO. I feel as if I am deliberately being misled and am not seeing anything from the relationships he is forming ... or not. They pretty much cut out anything of any substance out. Not even half a dozen sentences of real conversation. We never even got a resolution of Elise and Laura and who was going to talk to him or if they even did.

So incredibly frustrating.    I think I may need to go to the gym now to work off some of this frustration.

I'm not sure. The promo is so short and full of quick, little edited cuts, it's hard to tell. Based on the fact that she was called last, I guess Lisa would be the logical choice, but I don't understand why Cobie is still there...just watch when he gives her the rose. Even though she was called first, they just looked so stiff and as if neither wanted to touch one another. I think they may want us to think that Elora is a possibility since he seems to block her with whatever she wanted to do next.

I really have no idea. I am actually really kind of p*ssed off after this episode. So much was cut out and we are not getting to understand how his relationships with these women are coming about and developing.

I was so looking forward to seeing his second date with Laura and we barely saw anything. A bit of the limo ride where they were joking about and drinking champagne. A few sentences with the psychic and the next thing you know it's night and they are at the conservatory and we didn't get to see much of that either. Later the others are talking about what a threat she is, but watching that date it would be hard to tell. They were also discussing who he pulled to the secret garden, but I wasn't able to catch if he actually pulled someone or not. Maybe that is something you guys can listen to when you watch. The live stream doesn't allow me to rewind.

so here goes my theory that elora is leaving eh?
Did we hear florence saying "dirty monkey"?
So all we know is that matty knows that he was not expecting laura to open up?

I am not sure if the prods ever read this forum but I hope they are taking notes here................ you are so right @sprite ............... last episode was all about jen and we saw no CP.......... last we saw again drama and nothing much more........... we should shut the TV after the GD..................

seems to me that the first episode of each week is always moot and things always happen on the second no?

so the focus is now elise.. which does not surprise me. as I said, they always want to put a last minute girl and hide the obvious.

did we see tara groping his butt? did we see what they show us in the teaser? where was elora at the CP??

wow indeed. laura is really heavily edited and not in a good way at all.... gezzz i almost heard the crickets when the psychic said they had to be honest to each other

tara first pick at CP.... when all the girls felt uncomfortable to see the chemistry, cuddling between tara and matty... guess it was kind a revelation since they put the sofa for them to react... not especially tara, prods wanted them to be jealous of each other and it worked imo.... what is interesting was they ALL felt uncomfortable to see tara and matty cuddling............

tara is heavily edited..... yet we know she goes top 3 girls....

i do not think elora make it top 4 now.... did she ask him in the middle of the CP to escape? where? do a naked swim in the pool? ..... little secret... where?

laura is seen being jealous WITH elise and the others. she is seen competing for matty attention WITH elise again....... i found matty awkard when she said she cared. At times he was all lovey happy.... and next sec he was cold and introvert..... we hear the F1 music for 2 sec, next is just normal.... and as you both said @chenny and @sprite cut cut cut....

i foud some after finale PI though..... will work on SC

Lisa is a given since last episode the prods decided to show us her insecurities

Cobie being the first to receive a rose... somehow I expect her to get a 2nd 1-1 ... but maybe she will not receive a rose at the end of her date?

If not then Lisa may have a 1-1 and get eliminated during her date too?

each time Cobie is doing her little girl in front of matty when she receives a rose anoyes me no ends........................................... gezzzz
