Bachelor Australia - Season 5 - Matty Johnson - Sleuthing - **NO SPOILERS**

it is great that we have almost a different opinion. I wish we were more here but maybe next season, US or international, people will join. I really like this un-spoiled. Of course, as a very chatty person, I post a lot but this is a forum and everyone can or not do the same. each one its choice eh? ;)

I really see Tara F1. So many edits show me that on top of chemistry. So many edits show me they are grooming Laura for the next bachelorette gig. They are cutting way too much good stuff for her to be F1 on top of not editing her as the F1. But no matter if it is one or the other, one of them will be next bachelorette and it will be a win win.

The good part is starting in the next episodes now.

Yes.

On the outside chance that (another poster was it you in the other thread) that Elise goes far then Laura and Elise. Though for me that is crazy. Laura still wins above both of them though. As of now IMO.

These are the ones I know for sure won't win - Flo Tara and Elora.

Elise coming up from nowhere is making it very hard to make a call but I still think she is unlikely.

The F1 always always got a big "deal" made of them in episode 1, on the red carpet. Just on the basis of that Elise IMO cannot be f1.

I am not sure. This new teaser about laura's jealousy does not look F1 edits to me.

2 possibilities: she had her 2nd date ... which was announced at the end of last episode so she should have it ep 11 right? or she did not have her 2nd date and another girl get one before her.... therefore she feels very insecure and jealous. but since she was announced last episode, she had this 2nd date so why is she jealous?? What changed versus the previous RC??? unless matty did not give her the right assurance or she saw something with matty and a girl in the mansion or during the GD.

at this point it is a very small group so everything is way much easier to see. It is now easier to see if matty has preference, which direction he is looking, to next he like to sit etc....

For me jealousy means insecure. So why would she be insecure? I get it that she is still among a group but what changed since last episodes? OR..... she was insecure since day 1 but edits did not show us that and waited until leah and jean gone to "introduce" another kind of drama: jealousy between the girls.

So who had 2nd dates: Elora and Tara. And Tara got her 2nd date very soon after her 1st date. Elora got this overnight date which is huge. So for me, I am sure they must all compared and dissect each other. Some girl get it cool as concentrating on their relationship... some cannot do that. not easy I must say. I saw Laura at least 2 times in the middle of the fight with jen... so we know she can speak her mind. if she does that with jen, who knows if she does not with others?

Simone should leave next episode. I think her sleeve has the lacy purple in the season teaser we saw her blowing a kiss. The background fit.

However, the scene with Matty looks off. All the different looks Laura is making look off. Something happened. Elora is not in the picture. so for me 1 +1 = elora left during the cocktail party. This sounds really difficult to swalllow because I saw her very much in luv with matty but we have zero material to prove she has another date. Same with laura after her 2nd date BTW...

From the beginning the prods decided to edit Laura. why? they did not show us this secret garden when she received the rose. That is HUGE. So why make it like casual?? The kid talk was heavily edited on the boat. They cut a lot and left the part where matty said: we think the same (not verbatim). But if you listen carefully, we have a gap from her last sentence to this response. If we listen matty, he started to see her only when he painted her... not when she had this verbal diarrhea (as per her own words). So I do not see this romantic from beginning to start with matty. I think they edited her a lot to make us think it was, like the choice of sunset, kissing sofa etc.... also the way matty is edited when she says: I care. I care a lot. this is also to prove their point that she is jealous and insecure. However the kiss at the beginning of the teaser looks very tender and sweet... edits

So her "jealousy" and the strong suggestion that matty may have fall in love with another one.... showing us the back of tara walking back with matty hand in hand, and their tight hug... that for me means that she is not F1. But they groom her like a heartbroken F2 and potentially the next bachelorette.

Elora? Her absence on the pic disturbs me. The way he enter and the way they stay almost quiet means that he is returning from somewhere....... we saw elise next to laura and so far they had a wonderful 1st date... and no elora. why? What strikes me is also florence's look.... who BTW took side with Laura when she cried........ ANOTHER scene that we did not see BTW... why again???

So all her "looks", her obvious insecurity, her mentioning she is jealous.... way OTT for a F1, however once simone gone, they still have 2 or 3 episodes before HTD right? since the villains are gone.... now the prods must find some moments to keep the audience on their toes

There is a storyline in this new teaser... i think elora leaves during CP, I think laura is involved somehow (florence's look and all laura's looks), i think matty showed favoritism with tara, I think simone is also leaving... that is how I see the next episode.

I am trying to wrap up this possibility that elora leaves but this would justify the: I did not see it coming no?

What do you mean by "Elora is not in the picture" ? Two girls are missing from that scene so therefore we cannot assume that both girls are already eliminated.

IMO Simone goes at the end of episode 11. At the RC.

2. I think multiple girls have gone more than once to the secret garden and none of their time was shown on the screen either not just laura.

3. I do think there is too much Drama ATM with Laura. She is too much up in everyone's business and more than the kids issues IMO its her being too much in your face is a bigger issue for Matty.

IMO both she and Tara for slightly different reasons are "too much" for Matty. Actually Elora too .

We see elise with laura. so we know she is there. i think she is doing the PI right after the talk with matty. Elise had a great 1st date, nothing pinpoint she has issues except the exchange look with Laura. However, when matty "arrived" there is no elora who is among all the girls.. simone her friend is there. the girls do not welcome matty, this is not a hello. Florence do not even care to turn to matty but look straight to laura/cobie direction. Since the teaser is all about laura and cobie is now in the background, florence was looking at laura.... elora and laura were never spotted together. i think they are not BFF. On the other hand, we see matty with tara twice.

I cannot pinpoint what happened but I think Laura is heavily edited and not in the good way IMO. Jealous, insecure, part of conflict.... on top of not being a motherly woman, wanting to secure her work first (said during QT), enjoy a BF/GF relationship (said during QT)... no kids before 6-8 years... We never saw Laura also crying during the last RC or the segment in the secret garden when she received a rose ... What happened? edited again.... For me this is not an F1 edit.

i agree. i think he used it but they concentrated on drama leah and jen instead

i think if I add all the little things together with laura, something is fishy and i do not understand why they edited the good parts with her such receiving a rose in the secret garden when only lisa got it at ep1.

For me if prods are making a special laura teaser about her jealousy... that is not a good sign for me

@AllAboutLove could you ask the folks on the spoiled side to please record the promo for episode 12 and then could you post it here for us ?
I know it's an early request but I am curious about the eliminations that episode ! TIA

Alright, I'm all set and waiting and here we go. 

Recap of the Jen drama and summary of what's coming.

We start off at the mansion and the girls celebrating that Jen is gone and speculating on who is getting the next date. Thinking it's Simone and here comes Osher with the date card.

Single date...do you believe your destiny is written in the stars. Let's see what the future holds for us....Laura. She is excited but feels bad for Simone who doesn't know WTH she is doing here.

Matty is excited about his date. He is aware Laura is finding the process difficult. He hopes she can let go and get into the process. She felt they had a great first date, but she knows that others have as well, so she is looking to seeing if it continues. They are laughing in the limo and they go to the observatory....which she had guessed, but he said no, that was boring. They get along well, but he thinks that she is somewhat  guarded.

They see a psychic. Laura asks if they are compatible...yes, there is attraction. He asks what he can do to get her to open up and he is told, not much. Basically, be patient.

We missed a lot since it is now night and they are going to the conservatory and look at the stars with some woman. I would enjoy this...they are looking at Jupiter and he asks about that other star they were looking at earlier and apparently they get to name it .Matora. They are just laughing away.

Cut back to the mansion and my live stream is cutting out.. Simone is discussing what is going on and the others are discussing how Laura is a favourite. 

Matty feels they get closer every time they are together, but he wants her to let him in or if she can. She says she is scared of being disappointed. He says the psychic said that Laura is guarded and she says it is hard because he is not hers. She thinks it could be amazing, but she doesn't want to be hurt, because she really likes him and he loves it and goes for the posh.

He didn't expect that. He was hoping she would say that. He is stroking her face. He thinks she is making small steps. He said he didn't have high expectations, but they have been met today and gives her a rose. She goes in for the kiss now and they continue making out. ITM and she is saying is invested now and cares about what is happening.

I hate that we missed a whole, huge part of this date. I feel as we missed out on a lot of what is going on in this relationship.

We are back at the group date at the bouncy castle and the girls see their faces on the photos. Matty is wearing the striped shirt that he was doing his ITMs about the Laura date in the previous section.

He is handing out the t-shirts and guessing who is who. Someone will win quality time.

First game....Eat hanging donuts. Simone's is the smallest because she is glueten free. She naturally finishes first.

Next...each have to write down a childhood memory that defines them and put it in a balloon to pop and then guess, whose is which.

Fist up Elora wanting to pop with Matty. They are trying to squeeze it to pop, but it's hard. Next Tara, tells him to bend over and tries. Cobie. We miss most of the women.

Then they read the messages and he is guessing  them. Simone was pancake face. I wish we had heard all of them.

Next, pin the heart on the bachelor. They must chose what part is the most attractive...eyes, mouth, neck, etc and Simone is cheeky...on his manhood.

Matty has to figure who put the heart where. He hopes Laura put it on his little Johnson...but then figured out it was Simone. Everyone is having a great time laughing away.
