Not caught up yet. I feel like Peter realized he might not get F2 or the future lead, so he suddenly was "falling in love", I don't buy it.

Bryan did gossip, but managed to do it without being nasty about all of the Midwest or Madison. Just a different vibe in the gossip sessions.

Her family did like Peter, but I think it is because they really wish Rachel wasn't getting engaged at the end of this journey.

My guess is they're both competitive and Peter may not like how much Rachel likes Bryan. I doubt Peter usually has to work to win a woman. It seems he is trying to get Rachel to woo him even in this situation. I doubt anything so drastic happened for him to have so much venom towards Bryan (at least as evidenced by the amount of shade he has thrown post-filming).

@cookielover12 I hope so!!!!! He's never been in love, what a backstory that would be!

ITA with your entire post! I feel Kathy was even more happy coz she really doesn't want her daughter to marry someone from this show.
