I can't tell if this a running joke or for real, because he also commented that Nick was not impressed with much at is wedding in that dancing IG he posted. Nick does seem particularly miserable these past few month, more so than his usual grumpy old man persona, so I wouldn't be surprised. IMO.

Wasn't there a report he was fighting with V during this wedding? Might explain his poor attitude but I guess he's about to become the next Clooney so he's gotta start working on those people skills to hob knob with Amal and the rest of Hollywood elite.

I remember Vanessa's ig stories the day of the wedding and it did come across like Nick was particularly unhappy that day. Maybe not at Vanessa since she probably wouldn't be posting that (but who knows). Seems like Evan took personal offence to it so something wedding/producers/Evan related?

He even mentioned on Juliet Litman's podcast that he was quiet at the wedding. Out of all the things he could have said, he chose to say that.

He doesn't seem happy to put himself at the mercy of tptb's cameras anymore, so it could be as simple as that. Wanting to be there for a friend vs. not trusting production for a second. But it could've been anything - a hangover, a headache, a fight with someone...
