Nick Viall & Vanessa Grimaldi - Bachelor 21 - Discussion - #3

I would think faking it would be exhausting. Trying to keep your stories straight, keeping up appearances and schedules. Added to this, sharing a home while faking it. Sounds like too much hard work Imo.

Those girls on AfterBuzz have been saying Nick & Vanessa were gonna break up as soon as ATFR aired. I think they just don't like Nick so they expect the worse for him. Meanwhile, Danny another host on AfterBuzz mentioned that they look like they were doing great, and they are!

We have learned she was thinking/starting her charity before she went on the show. They actually spoke about it in the FS as per Nick. Even if she wasn't the F1 I would think she would be just as successful with it. She is extremely outgoing and a straight shooter. He has always supported her and made every media interview all about her taking the focus away from himself.

We have seen IG of them cooking quite a few times and Nick takes the occasional backside pic of Vanessa showing off her curvy body or dinner with a view which IMO is a beautiful pic of Vanessa.

They seem to do fun things, they were at a ping pong charity event yesterday, walking in the rain the other day. Even the Hello Fresh as was hilarious and fun.

I don't see any faking going on. We see little of them on SM or IG stories compared to other formers. I like how they are not over exposing themselves and are doing exactly what they said they want to do and that's enjoy getting to know each other.

If they were faking it IMO they'd be in our faces all the time, showing lovey dovey pics.

When I think of DeAnna and Jesse, Emily and Jef, that to me is faking it.

I could claim all the current couples together are faking it since none of the current couples that are together are married yet and all shill, promote their brand/businesses, etc. I've yet to see any evidence from N&V that supports some hearsay. So to me, some person just making claims that aren't based on anything substantial are meaningless. Until N&V spend months apart or unfollow-refollow each other on IG, or spend a drastic amount of their time hanging with their single friends or partying than that with their partner, or any other such thing, I will take any so-called rumors with a huge grain of salt.

Here's the thing, V is from Canada. She loves her homeland. When and if she becomes unhappy, I just know she's going to hang around in LA...NOT...IMO. If I have learned one thing about V, it is that you will not see her in pics faking anything. She's just not cut out for it.

       -  IMO  -   As based on Vanessa's IG story, we know that launching a foundation and being able to help others are big parts of Vanessa's life goals and dreams...her plans are probably to pursue it in Montreal, Canada later...but, since she has been working with Galileo, she has put aside her plans off unto the back burner at the time being...now, with her being out of Galileo and, not really doing much...it makes a lot of sense for her to start planning about it as soon as she sees a future for her to live in LA with Nick...Vanessa is just doing it right at the best time and the right time...definitely

       -  IMO  - It is really not hard to figure out whether a relationship is for real or fake...compassion and love can never be fake long term...even the best actors cannot get away with fraud and fake emotions...thus, for people to make judgments and pin point a relationship to being fake just because they think it is fake...this is never 100% right, neither will it ever be 100% true since they are not 100% involved in their relationships...   -  JMO  -

Isn't Vanessa's charity, all her contacts for it, and all the events happening for it, in Canada? She's getting a lot of attention in Canada all on her own, because she's Canadian from the Bach, she doesn't need Nick for that, IMO. So Imo staying with Nick in LA actually is a hindrance for her charity project and making that work, IMO. For that alone, I don't think she'd stay with Nick and fake it. It'd be easier for her to just get back to Canada, to her family and friends who love her, than stay with Nick, when it doesn't even help her charity. Jmo.

       -  IMO  -   It makes sense for Vanessa to start from her hometown...since home is where the heart is...and, where it starts...being with Nick creates a new home and family for her...I believe Vanessa will eventually branch out to the United States and create an international awareness...making herself internationally reachable...it is a big dream, but possible and doable in the long run...that would be a great legacy for her to establish and achieve...   -  JMO  -

IMO Vanessa is proof that this couple is good. She is always beaming when with/talking about Nick.
Reading Nick is a bit tougher and I'll be honest -- he is the one that usually brings me to be a bit skeptical.

Just a note on that Afterbuzz podcast -- after following that podcast since Andi's season, I have increasingly been coming to the conclusion that they are one of the least insightful/reliable podcasts. They only latch onto certain stories/sources/tips and usually harp on about them and don't really consider everything that is out there and wider context. I don't want to go into Rachel's season here, but I've found this to be the case with the Afterbuzz podcast.

This is a girl who cried during World Vision  Sponsor a Child commercials when she was young and wanted to bring them all home. She later sponsored a child herself. She has a huge heart, she had a goal, and she is making that goal a reality. I can totally see her branch out to the rest of Canada, followed by a universal organization. She is a very motivated young lady IMHO. She has great Canadian sponsorships from some very well known big companies. That's not easy to do.

As far as Nick, he is skeptical of anyone he talks to because of how they will turn anything into a major scandal, paraphrasing, his words.

IMO he is trying to protect his relationship. I think once the next bachelor season starts, it will die down for them, which I think he'll be more than happy about the focus being on someone else.

Totally agree and Nick has as much as said he wants to protect their relationship as much as possible regarding the tabloids, gossip and baseless fodder. I've seen several candid photos over the past few weeks (not posing, not trying to hide from papparazzi, not hamming it up) where both Nissa have huge grins and smiles all over their faces whether it be NBY a couple weeks ago, just walking around town w friends (Kyle SM) or playing ping pong at Dodger Stadium for charity. I have not seen any glaring sign that either one is unhappy with life. Nick's skeptical and what some label paranoid behavior is not coming out of nowhere, all you have to do is look at SM and magazine articles literally trying to dissect how Nissa sit together while traveling to determine that status of their whole relationship. It's so silly IMO.

I don't know if they'll last but nick and Vanessa just seem real to me. They seem like just a normal every day couple that's trying to make it in the real world like the rest of us. They aren't blasting their "happiness" in our faces on SM and all I can say is thank you for it!! The happiest couples are the ones that are the quietest on SM! IMO!

I don't need to see their fake lovey dovey crap that some of these couples put on Instagram everyday! A lot of times these people are overcompensating for something when they feel the need to post stuff like that!!

Some people will never be satisfied with anything nick does. He can look left and someone will say, "did you see the way he was ignoring Vanessa when they were walking down the street yesterday? He's such a terrible person! Oh my god!" Or he could stutter a bit because god forbid he be a little awkward in interviews and someone will think he's trying to find better words to use because he so bored with Vanessa! THE GUY JUST CANT WIN!

I am not Nick's number one fan but I do like him and I really like him and Vanessa together. I hope they work out and I hope they defy the odds and become the 2nd bachelor couple to marry and have babies. Will they do it? Who knows! Fingers crossed! If they keep away from SM as they have and keep living life the way they seem to have been doing lately, I think they have a shot!
