SFoster wrote:Since Desiree's season, I only watched Kaitlyn's season (because of Nick and Britt). I didn't even look at the spoilers for Kaitlyn because I'm not a fan of her nor did I like any of the guys except Nick, but she spoiled her own season, so I don't think many viewers even paid much attention to the previews because it was definite who won.
But for Desiree's final previews, they clearly showed Drew close to crying when he got sent home. It was a dead giveaway but Drew fans refused to believe it had anything to do with him being sent home. Same way I thought Peter crying on the floor was at the HTD at first, so didn't have anything to do with him being sent home. Now I think he is sent home during FD, that may even be the FS and she left. On the FD, they do have a daytime outfit and wear something different at night. I'm surprised he's wearing such distressed jeans though since he's such a dapper dresser usually.
That whole scene has been very confusing to me as well. I don't think peter would be in that outfit during a night portion of a date, which leads me to believe he was let go during the day. From looking at the screen caps, I think it's the same day as where he was kissing on her neck, since he was also wearing a white tee there too. I do think he was f2 because the other screen caps of him wearing the olive sweater seem like a different day IMO. No way was he wearing a t-shirt underneath with how thin that sweater is. imo

Bryan comes back (in the deleted scene) to the room early. The guys exclaim that he's back early. He doesn't look happy to me. He doesn't talk much in the group ever. They grill him for details. He seems odd. To me, he doesn't even seem to be happy about the watch. The way I read it, he might be feeling like oh no, now I'm stuck, I really wanted to leave. And the reason I think this is because at dinner, he tells her negative stuff, like how his other relationship fizzled over hot and heavy too soon and his mom, he doesn't want to talk about his past and upbringing. Maybe he wants to plant doubt in Rachel's mind so she won't give him a rose. Maybe he didn't expect to get his far and he was okay with that, but now she seems serious buying him the watch. Maybe he was trying to scare her off about his mom so she wouldn't want a htd with him. Then from the video of them at the big Columbian family gathering in Miami on his htd, for the lover boy he usually is, I think their BL is off, like stand apart for some time, she's the one who initiates hugging and kissing. He doesn't even seem to want to dance. And he doesn't dance well, I mean look at him he barely moves. Then at her MTP, he doesn't seem to try to earn favor with her family the way he is rude to her mom and then leaves the table.
When Rachel first came in to sit with the guys, to tell them about the week, she sits close to Eric. Notice how Bryan moves further away from her, it's like he's saying don't pick me don't pick me.
This is the way I am reading Bryan. ALL JMO!!!
On the other hand, this is the way I am reading Rachel. She knows Bryan's type. She is "playing" him. He is the player. But this time, she is turning it around and SHE is playing him. I think she looks at him during the watch buying spree like she is buying him to stay until the end. He is squirming inside maybe but she wants to make sure she drags him to the end so she can dump his you know what like he does other women. She knows what she is doing. She is making him sweat it. All JMO. I think it's hilarious! I think we are seeing a player being played, another first? We'll have to wait and see.

@SFoster I think you should consider being a script writer for this show. That scenario is more entertaining than whatever that has ever happened on this franchise.

I completely disagree that Bryan is trying to say don't pick me. if anything he acts like Rachel has already picked him imo

I mean, just listen to Rachel in the itms. She is delivering polished lines (like Bryan gives her), not serious relationship lines. She is reversing the roles! LOL She probably talked to Jubilee before filming started. LOL She got the lowdown.

In episode 3 (I think it was), Bryan is giving Eric advice on how to develop his relationship with Rachel. If he was about winning her heart, why would he do this? jmo On top of that, right after his first 1:1 where he tells Rachel he is falling in love with her, we see him giving Kenny advice about how to win her heart! And he never talks in the group. That's a big ??. Like he is trying to be invisible. I don't think he expected to go this far. JMO

Re: Bachelorette 13 - Rachel Lindsay - Episode 7 - July 10 - *Sleuthing Spoilers*
Not sure where to post this, so here goes... after watching Bryan and Peter's dates, it is interesting to see where they are coming from. Granted both men are good people, and very likable. So this being said, just trying to take what is portrayed at face value. With Bryan, it comes across as Rachel is a commodity/possession to be made for him, "my woman", "as long as you love me", etc. IMHO, this comes across as very egocentric, and wanting everything to go his way. The way his conversations rolled out, his timing and choice of words, very calculated and manipulative in knowing what to say when and where to get the results he wanted. Dean described the scenario well. In his story about his past relationship, he talked about his girlfriend not meeting his mom halfway, using "she" to defend his mom, in how things turned out. If he really loved her, the scenario would have been different. To me this is a red flag, in that he doesn't take responsibility in his part in the relationship, meaning "Runnn..." I am sure his mom is a wonderful person, but he is an only child.
With Peter, his conversation is about having a relationship, and describing what his role in it had been, and how he felt by ending it. Receiving therapy to help resolve issues is a very mature approach to working through things. Taking responsibility for his part in the unhealthy relationship, you may love someone very much, but when you know you just know it is not right, even though both are good people apart.
The other thought is that even though Bryan and Rachel are kissing every second possible, they're only kissing. With Peter, they are kissing and touching each other often, showing affection in many different ways. Let's just say your mind and body can say two different things. As a smart girl, Rachel knows what she is doing and how far she is taking things. Both guys are great, and both relationships are fun to watch develop. But the level of emotional intelligence versus emotional manipulation is no comparison. As Peter acts as though he will not be manipulated, and Bryan acts more than happy to be. As well, as getting different emotions to rise to surface, as when she came to take Bryan on the date, to visit with the guys, while he was getting ready. Even though they spent the day together, then to send him home early, seemed very telling to me. It is still her choice to be made, and we get to enjoy the journey.
All just thoughts about how people interact, IMHO

It's not cool for contestants to come back from their time with their lead and brag about anything that occurred between them. I think he respects that and wants to keep things private.
If Rachel is playing Bryan, then IMO she has to be one major actress, gushing about the kiss during media rounds, not to mention in her PI's the way she goes on and on about him.
