I was just responding to the comment of no F1's saying negative things about other contestants on camera. If he knew he was on camera, he knew what he was saying could be used.

Just because they haven't shown conflict between them doesn't mean there isn't any. I'm not saying there is conflict but we don't know for sure. Pretty natural to size each other up forming an opinion about who would or wouldn't be a good match for Rachel.  Forming opinions about their competion....like Bryan's comments about Dean being too young.

I see every conversation as one that could be prompted or provoked by TPTB, anything for drama and conflict. JMO.

Possible, but it wasn't aired.  This convo between Dean and Peter was on camera.  It doesn't make them look very good talking behind someone else's back.  Jmho.  

Bryan's comment about Dean and Dean's prospects with Rachel due to his age wasn't said to Dean's face either. He said it on camera and behind his back to the other guys in the room. Don't see any difference. All these guys are assessing the competition and talking amongst themselves. JMO.

Points all taken, and good ones at that. For me though, is Dean Bryan or any other guy shading anyone else post filming?

If Peter was just going about his merry old way, working and thanking fans, that would be a whole different story. One would wash the other and SM clues would be out the window for me.

I disagree. I personally would feel like Peter attacked my character if I was on the receiving end. He knew he would sound, in his own words, "like a dick" for stating the things he said, but he said them anyway because he feels entitled to say them. IMO he says that Bryan is not good enough for Rachel to imply that he himself is much better for Rachel because he's more genuine and not a slick talking phony like Bryan. This mirrors the shade he's been putting out post show.

I am personally just disappointed that Peter's riling his fan base to drag Bryan when he could lead by example. As Bryan said to Kenny and I wrote on another post, "Be the better man."

But by the same token is she being a good lead to her f2, ignoring him in her blogs and tweeting closed eyes during their hot tub? Seems things started okay with her blog comments early in the season but relations are going down hill fast. Probably because she's feeling pressure from her f1, who culturally probably is having issues with this show, and because Peter is acting like a dummy on sm himself. All imo.

I don't really think that leads owe their F2 special attention or anything like that after the show. They are just exes and as long as the lead is not shading the F2 or saying that there was nothing at all, while we could all see there was something, i'm fine with it.
At some point, you just have to keep your attention focused to your fiance, whether he or she is the jealous type or not.

All the other leads have done that in different ways.
For me it's healthier for all parties concerned.

I remember Jasmine being honestly still affectionate in a way with her F2 and that being so confusing for all of us, her F1 included. She was lucky the F2 was strong enough to not be rolled back in with that "behaviour"'.


Plus in this specific case, F1 or not, it might just be really difficult for a woman in love and happily engaged to write about an intimate moment with and ex and gush about it.
Personally, I wouldn't even have the desire to think about it, let alone the words to write about it.

In many USA cases the F2 is not even an "ex". They are simply a MOT that made it to the final 2 position because someone had to. Some cast person has to make it from the position ______ to 2. That's how it works. Sometimes the lead has a few cast she is into. Sometimes not so much.

Good points! I might be wrong, but didn't Kaitlyn start to significantly limit her blog mentions about Nick?? Might be a clue.

Who knows this season. If ABC is promoting a foiler with Bryan as f1, I can see why the blog mentions of Peter would go away.

This photo taken after the deleted scene in the next episode shows Bryan pretty friendly toward Peter. He still thinks they are bffs here! So the conversation was behind Bryan's back and not part of a conflict they had directly with each other, IMO.

IMO The implication of Peter liking posts like the one yesterday is that fans will think they will get attention and likes from him if they post disparaging or negative remarks about Bryan. He's encouraging negativity toward TOG right now with his sm behavior, IMO.

TBH I thought that scene was soft core porn! So yeah, I'd be really embarrassed mentioning that scene myself, especially if my f1 is not Peter. Also daddy and family are watching, so I'd just move on from that, especially if I didn't have anymore feelings for my onscreen love interest. I can also see how it would be disrespectful to my fiancé to go into detail about what happened in that tub for 3.5 hours. Yeah, better not to peel off that scab.

On the other hand I was surprised she didn't even mention Peter the next day because he did win the group date rose. Can't begin to guess the reason why on that one, but my best guess is she is not happy with Peter for whatever reason, or trying to mislead us into thinking he's the f1 by not mentioning him at all.

First, I seriously doubt she was with Peter for 3.5 hours. What I suspect is whoever throughout that time (3.5 hrs) was saying it to make it sound like it felt like they had been gone way too long.
If they had been gone in actuality close to that time, I believe TPTB would have placed bugs in the some of the guys ears to go looking for them and interrupt them. JMO. But something done frequently for drama by TPTB.
Second, I tend to think that little romantic bull ride was fairly choreographed by production. JMO. It's not like Rachel could be laying back as she could not risk getting her hair wet. It's not like any of Peter's past amorous moves came across very convincing. So very little of his face or body was shown, if any in this montage to create a scene to move the romance along, about all you could see were his hands. JMO. His acting skills are lacking skills.

I don't think Rachel would be grinding on Peter in the hot tub just because TPTB suggested her to get in there with him in the first place. She was definitely into it even though we the audience only got to see a glimpse of it. Their blushing faces when they came back and joined the men makes me think both enjoyed it, IMO.
