I was expecting to hear this during FDs.  I'm sure we will again based on her in the season preview saying she connects with someone from within and it scares her.  But I agree it's an early clue to her F1, just in my opinion.

Peter is the type from this show I relate to,  I call them too real for tv .  Some people IMO just don't or can't put on for tv. That's what I saw with Peter and I loved it. Just my perception and opinion.  

My belief is he was slated by TPTB as probable Bachelor JMO (that would explain ep2 date, public Ellen date putting him out there).  He would be perfect IMO.  But then love happened for Rachel IMO, (if spoilers are true) and hopefully him too.    What I saw was a guy gradually having it sink in that he was connecting on a real human level with this woman and that they were legitimately bonding.  For them both to openly talk about seeking therapy because of failed relationships, to me speaks to their emotional maturity and true desire to make a successful adult relationship work.  JMO.  I appreciate him more for being guarded and acting like a normal person on a first date, JMO.  To me he was very interested in Rachel in a realistic way, but not head in the clouds la la land way. We'll see what happens. I saw 2 adults genuinely bonding, JMO.

(ETA Not saying I'm at all a good judge on this because I found Brooks and Becca to be the realistic and guarded because of the situation types, and in reality they just weren't feeling it.     JMO.)

Right! The way Rachel's gushing about how much he loves her, and since last night he's been UN ABLE to control himself on the gram

I hope for Rachel's sake he is really into her now if they are together in the end. I like Rachel and think she's awesome. I like Peter too. But she is the only girl and he doesn't really have a choice. I kind of get Brooks or Graham Bunn vibes from him (just as far as the girl be way more into it). But Peter is a nice guy and I don't think he would want to hurt her by leaving, so hopefully he is more into it than he seems. She does seem to just be going for the hot ones, and not giving others a chance. Someone like Kenny seems really into her imo. Hopefully she have everyone a chance.

Oh, I don't think at all he wasn't feeling it, quite the opposite IMO.  I'm just trying to be logical and open to other's observations and save my over the top gushing for a different thread .  Personally I think it was the beginning of a beautiful, mutual love story, but that's just my opinion of course.

It's hard for the men I think because she's so intimidating and she's the lead but yet she wants to be pursued and wooed. Only the ones that are most confident (ie hot) have a chance from the start imo. Not really that she's going for the hottest but kinda how things are shaking up imo.

I think Chris Harrison mentioned something in his blog about the guys being intimidated by her as well. I think sometimes you need that reassurance that a kiss will be well received and I think once that first kiss was out of the way and he knew it was ok he kept initiating the kisses after that.

Ashley I also said that she thought that Peter wasn't really feeling it. She said she got Des/ Brookes and Ashley/ Jared vibes. I definitely see the viewpoint that Peter wasn't all that into it, but Im giving him the benefit of the doubt JMO

Is that going to be the theme for the season, Peter whom she is gaga over but she isnt sure if he feels the same, and Bryan who shows her with his tongue that he is into her.

That's funny because I did not get that vibe from him. I could see that she was into him more than he was into her, but he still was into her, he's just a little more guarded. I mean he did say that he did not think he would be attracted so fact, he said that sometime there are things that you just feel with a person, he shared some personal truth, he went in for the kiss... his eyes were also very telling imo...

For me he was just real and genuine and none the less into her, even if it was a bit less, all jmo

I totally appreciate him taking his time, there is a connection there to be explored as they get to know each other more. Lets now forget he went to therapy for a bad breakup so it is normal for him to take his time and not jump into anything after one date! I npw understand that what Rachel has been saying about her man being self aware stems from Peter recognising that he needed help after a failed relationship. I am now convinced he is F1
