Ben's first comments and it's from his upcoming podcast with Ashley I. I'm still giving that partnership a major side eye.

"Just to be as politically correct as possible and to also be as truthful as possible, Lauren will always be one of my best friends," Ben shared

Why did he feel the need to add this part? Super unnecessary and IMO the beginning of making himself the victim and subtly blaming Lauren for the next little while. Jmo.

Good statement except the politically correct part. Wut?!

Everything he said was basically everything I predicted him to say.

I knew Lauren would take almost all of the furniture with her. Ben sooo wants his headboard back. The interior design project is interesting since Lauren always wanted to do that with him and now he's doing it on his own.

Wait Lauren said she took the furniture with her? Seems easier to just get a new place comped entirely.

I feel like almost everything Ben does is what he thinks should be done. Like he has this list of what a "good" person does and he does that. It's why I don't think I will ever know the real Ben (and TBH I am not sure that Ben even knows the real Ben IMO). I think Ben is very repressed as a person and lives by "rules" that IMO he himself struggles with doing at times but ultimately he will always resort to IMO because he wants to be seen a certain way and have a certain image. jmo

I just... can't take anything little Sally Sunshine says seriously. Until even a few weeks ago, they "were in a really great, maybe the best place they ever were" "really getting to a solid place to pick a date." I call B to the S on these statements too.

Nice guy. Saying the PC "right" things. Certainly respectful and positive. But my gawd, he's full of it.

@sosleepy I totally agree. He knows how to sugar coat his BS better than many I have ever seen, IMO.

Yeah they definitely won't be best friends, IMO.

Heck, IMO part of their problem was they weren't best friends to begin with!
