Ben Higgins - Bachelor 20 - Discussion

Man this guy is full of crap imo, Lauren dodged a bullet. Ben loves to make him self look like the nice genuine one, when in reality he is nothing but a fame ho IMO

I was just looking somewhere else, and Ben didn't lose 100,000 followers, he lost 1,000 (but he's also been gaining the same amount back.)

I don't think he's losing sleep over a few followers but okay.

Sad to see so many people sour on Ben. I actually really like him. I especially liked his podcast with Ashley. They're a funny duo.

What makes you think the producers are interested in him being the next bachelor?

I'll pass on Ben 2.0 or anything else Ben related.  He can make an appearance on the Bach Winter Olympics, if he has to pop up somewhere on one of the shows in the near future, but I don't need the whole show to turn into all about Ben.  

I'm still amazed that for such vanilla people (IMO) we find so much to discuss about them both and form such strong opinions.  I mean we're already on page 28 of Ben's thread and 25 for Lauren, in like a weeks time.  Not to disrupt or discourage the conversation, I just find it interesting.

There's already talk online and articles saying he should do it again. There was CH interview where he was asked about Ben being offered the bachelor again. I think CH said "the body is still warm" to ask him?? I think the producers like him, and outside of this forum and a few IG trolls, he's verrrry well liked by the general population. IMO, he's not in it for fame, he seemed very genuine about finding love. I don't know who has bachelor potential from Rachel's season. But like I said, I don't think he'd accept. All JMO.

I wouldn't lump this whole forum in a category that doesn't like Ben. He had many fans on this forum. Just because there are more negative posts doesn't mean this forum doesn't like him. Sometimes people choose not to post when they are sadden by a split, unlike SM trolls.

I just noticed that Ben's IG said 1,400,000 instead of the 1,500,000 he had been at before. I assumed it dropped in real numbers. Perhaps IG rounds up or down by 100,000 when the numbers are over 1,000,000. My bad....sorry for assuming.

Imo, Ben comes across like he lives by a script. And to me it's more than just his past relationship with Lauren or having to "pretend" in a relationship and goes way back to his stint as a contestant on K's season. Even back then Ben came across scripted to me. At the time I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he was so rehearsed acting due to his spinning his wheels to be the next lead but over time I now see Ben as rehearsed and scripted outside of just a show. It's like he's acting his way through life rather than living it imo and it's partly (there's quite a few other reasons) why I've gone from being neutral on Ben to seeing him more as phony and inauthentic.
