I agree. The way she acted at the festival with Jen and LB was something else. Say what you want..that it was already over then, that Ben is the reason she acted that way..but IMO, you just don't do that as an engaged person.

Him and the ex are cordial it seems. The Shaelin ship has sailed and IMO I don't think he wants on. He turned off the comments on his post. I'm glad.

Lauren has said that she struggled because Ben chose to tell JoJo about the double ILY's BUT willfully chose to not tell Lauren until AFTER he asked her to marry him. Ben doing what served himself first and foremost as usual...took away from Lauren the option to make an informed decision on the proposal before she said yes or no. Instead she had the bombshell dropped on her after the fact...killing what should have been a joyful time...IMO.
Ben created a shaky foundation by his duplicitous actions from the start of the RL relationship. IMO that is on Ben.

With telling Jojo and Lauren on the TV show. From the footage which which the TV portrayed, it appears he told Jojo because she asked him. I think most of the girls on the show said they knew that he liked Lauren from early on. I think Jojo sort of knew and so questioned him. As it was a direct question to him and she took him directly to the bathroom she was able to to get her answer.

I think he didn't tell Lauren because she didn't ask, plus I think he liked her a lot so he probably didn't want to raise that as an issue with the consequence that he could lose her right there which he didn't want to.

I think in most relationships that people enter into with people they like, they don't normally try to give all their bad points first or say things to drive the other person away. So I believe what Ben did was not intentional to harm her, I believe he did not tell her because he liked her and didn't want her to leave.

Every season has it's hurdles for the final couple. A lot of the explaining comes after the show. It's an abnormal situation. Whether Ben told her before or not, Lauren still would have accepted the proposal IMO. When it came to their breakup, I don't think Jojo was a factor.

Yes I think they said in the interview that it wasn't the sole reason for the breakup.

I think any private issue between Ben and Lauren should remain that way to avoid any more negative comments on people taking sides. Social media with a million plus followers does not help relationships.

Didn't realise the comments had been turned off, I think it could be the first time Ben has ever turned off the comments in a post.

Imo Ben definitely should've told Lauren before proposing, and not doing so took away her choice to not be just marginally 'better' option. Imo Ben made a lot of these choices and Lauren just had to deal with it. Imo she made so many sacrifices both emotionally and physically, and when she started to not bend over backwards to appease Ben, that when the relationship ended.

As for Lauren, she's still hurting, IMO, most likely seeing a bit of side of Ben that is new to her, as in him Imo ruthlessly using the break up as a promo tool for the podcast, shading Lauren left and right, and then reconnecting with the ex, two minutes after the break up. I say, her liking a few ig comments is nothing compared the truckload Ben throws her way. Jmo

We will never know what Lauren would have or would not have done as to saying yes or no. Lauren herself said that Ben took away her ability to understand the full situation before proposing AND his actions in doing that caused problems from the moment he told her after the fact. IMO Ben knew Lauren might say No if she knew what happened and because Ben thinks of Ben first...he did not want to take the risk. Even after the fact he never took responsibility for his own duplicity...IMO.

Lauren just tweeted that she's "so over fake ppl (painting nails emoji"...If this is about Ben, then I find it sad. There once used to be so much love there.

However, I'm definitely not writing off this being about Ashley I or maybe even Becca. Ashley because obviously she really likes Ben and is doing the podcast. Becca...she was on the podcast with Ben and Ashley yesterday which will be released today. Becca posted a picture of herself, Ben, and Ashley but deleted it a few minutes later. Becca did tweet an hour ago "You know how people are like "it's fine if you don't like me!"? Not me. I'd like to know why, what ive done, & how to rectify the situation." Very well may not be regarding these girls though. There was Becca's interview at Ellen where she picked Ben over every single guy, couldn't pick Jared because of Ashley, still picked Ben but was like "but I'm friends with Lauren."

I thought Ben's blog post on what he hopes for his future wife is interesting. He continously mentions "if you're not with the right person" throughout.

If Lauren is angry about either Becca or Ashley, she needs to NOT IMO. If she has a problem, the problem should be with Ben solely IMO. Ashley and Becca are both friends with Lauren and Ben. They shouldn't have to choose sides. And Becca's Ellen interview wasn't even shady, as she clearly said to Tracy at the end that she's friends with Lauren IMO.

Wait... confusion. Can someone clarify this Becca business for me?

Also now Ben has a lifestyle blog? Lmao. Ok, then. Sure is chatty recently, that one.

It's kind of awkward for Ben to write this post about what he wants in a wife imo, like here's all the things Lauren wasn't....eek
