And - because this is Lauren's thread - she filmed three of the four shows with him. Now she is shilling promoting SodaStream, has her blog, is an IG "influencer" etc. So many opportunities have come Lauren's way, thanks to appearing on three reality shows with Ben! She's no longer limited to passing out peanuts and Pepsi products to surly airline travelers. Sad about the $80K ring though.

I always wonder about the rings. I imagine the prices quoted are retail which contains a large mark up and if they ever went to sell them, they would not get nearly that amount. TBH I am not really a fan of most of Neil Lane's rings. They all seem very similar to me and are a little to OTT for my tastes, but if the ladies like them, that is all that matters. I always wonder what rings the guys would choose if they weren't limited by the NL selection.

@Sprite if we are going to count every appearance bachelor nation members have done, then just about every recent contestant that has been a bachelor couple has filmed way over 4 "shows" imo.

^I'm not sure that's an accurate statement to make re most Bach couples having filmed 4+ shows, IMO.

@aviej if ben and laurens hosting disney wedding special was a "show",  then imo i would. All the jimmy kimmel appearances, talk show stops, bachelor specials, family feud episodes, dwts, those are all filming appearances on shows imo.

@hae1001 To be fair though the Kimmy Kimmel appearance, and shows ike GMA and Live with Kelly are mandatory - sealed in their original Bach contract. I do not think that the wedding special and HEA were a part of their original contract and therefore they were not obligated to do it. IMO.

To be fair, I don't really count the appearances on Bachelor themed game shows...Family Feud, Millionaire, either. To me those are group things related to the original shows. Other than their original appearances on the Bachelor/ette and BIP, I also tend to count the stuff that they do on their own which is not Bachelor related like the Marriage Boot Camp, Celebrity Wife Swap, DWTS, etc. I don't begrudge them any opportunities they choose to take that result from their appearance on the show. What type of shows they choose to do, however, does sometimes make me go .

I didn't mean to get this into a tit for tat about who has done more shows. I was simply stating a fact. I don't care who does what. It is their life. If Lauren chooses to do other shows, I certainly won't hold it against her. No reason she should not benefit from her stint on the show like many others, however I will say that I do appreciate her low key response to the break up. Will it last? We shall see.

I really think I would milk the opportunities too. The ones who don't shill as much may simply not NEED the income. who knows. But for as long as they have the popularity to do it, I say go for it. But, I'd advise that they stay aware that it's not forever and then let it go gracefully when their turn is done. And hopefully they will have banked alot for leaner times.

Or maybe they don't really like/use every product they're offered to promote, so they don't want to falsely advertise. Many of them, Lauren included, seem to promote whatever is thrown their way. For example, Lauren promoting Sugar Bear hair the day she got it instead of waiting to see if it actually worked. Another thing, Lauren's insta ads have pretty much tripled since the break up. Since she is just now promoting FabFitFun boxes, hair gummies, etc., it would't surprise me if that was an issue in their relationship. Maybe that's how she wanted to make a living, but Ben wanted her to have an actual job/purpose. I definitely believe he would have supported her choosing the lifestyle blogger route, but she half-assed it. All JMO.

^^Regarding the sugar hair gummies, she was giving her first reaction and for that you need to do it when it first arrives not after she has been using it for months .Did she made a false claim of how it has worked before even trying it ?? No. She was mentioning about the taste ,color etc as she tried it on her insta story .

^ Ben has recently been using IG stories where he has tagged restaurants, in home massage companies, and adidas. IMO, he wants to stay relevant and earn some extra cash. The timing of him now using IG stories makes me wonder if He knew how much Lauren was taking home from promoting ads and wanted that $$ now. JMO
