Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - Discussion - #6

I 100 agree Seabear!! Go Lauren go. I have always liked her and thought Ben was a bit of a tool.

To be fair, it's not my opinion that she's above every one else in this franchise or that's she perfect. She has never given me any indication that she feels or acts like she's so perfect. It's also not my opinion that everything is Ben's fault, sarcastically or not. There were two people in this relationship and we can only discuss what we see.

It's unfair IMO to blame one person in a failed relationship.

I would like to know when Lauren said she was perfect, and above the franchise, or what makes one think that?

It seems now that Lauren has moved on and the relationship was over six months ago.  I think Ben was holding out hope that they might get back together.  I know Ben went to Portland for Easter, and I think he went to Portland after Christmas with his family.  It was very nice of the Bushnells to allow him to be there; however, there is no doubt in my mind that they were just supporting Lauren and her financial deals that required them to be together until after the Disney Wedding Special.

From the carefree way Ben has been acting, I think he's glad the relationship is over, despite what he says to magazine articles. The guy hasn't looked as glowing and happy as he does now in monthssss. I think both Ben and Lauren feel free now IMO.

Totally agree with everything you said her!

What made me dislike Lauren was the endless drunken videos pre breakup. I actually liked her a lot during her season and wanted Ben to pick her. Slowly over time I saw this and it is hard to see on this board so I can't imagine being in a relationship with her. But I do wish them both the best.

I don't think they were really in their relationship by that point @sparkler They were seldom both in Denver at that same time from what was posted here. I don't watch anyone's videos - were there really that many and for a long time?

This makes me think that things weren't completely over. Struggling, but not over at this time.

Well that date was close to his birthday. Maybe she was trying one last time to see if it works.

I do think they tried to work things out. Oddly when they were apart they probably started to miss each other and then would get around each other and the same issues still existed.

In the long run I think both will be much better off as they are.

I thought we don't have to justify our opinions?
Just like I don't question people who praised Lauren Bushnell for every single thing she did, I simply talk to myself about how I can't see any of those.

She is unbearable to me, so I hate to go through Ben's season again to quote what I have been saying all this time. But this smirk sums it her for me.
