I'm so glad I'm not the only one. When I watched the vids I felt like the TPTB were pushing me to think Lily was F1. Her vid had a more "love story" quality to it while Viarni's had a fun flirty vibe.

If I wasn't a member of this site and just general Jo public who just watches for fun and not to sleuth then, from that video, I would totally think that Lily had it in the bag.

BUT - us sleuthers know that TPTB are sneaky - so are they highlighting one love story and downplaying another so we are surprised with the ending OR are they actually being honest with their edit and showing us the true love story of Zac and Lily?

I can't stand it! I have always been confident in my pick for F1 - this is the first time I have been indecisive on who I think will win. It's driving me nuts!!!!!

northern_southernThe editing of the entire show has done a bad job of hiding Zacs awe of Viarni. I knew as soon as they met. It's been very obvious all the way through the show. I wish they'd tried to had made us guess or fool us. It's not as fun when the outcome is so blatantly obvious through the same series

Just spotted another TV3 preview and Zac and Viarni were sharing a pretty steamy kiss in a car!

I have no clue...seriously... I am completely stumped! Roll on Sunday! I can't wait!

@Katiebelle Good point - it's useful to remember TPTB aren't making this show for sleuthers, they're making it for the regular "viewer on the street" and I agree, if I was judging only by what's shown in the recap videos I'd think Lily was F1 for sure.  So if they're sticking to their "surprise ending" formula, that suggests V.

Maybe we're giving them too much credit thinking they might be highlighting the love story for once?  They've used all their regular editing "tricks" so far in regards to making us think Lily and Viarni would leave when others did.  They might just be sticking to the usual formula of hiding the F1 and we're over-thinking it.

At this point I'm almost hoping Viarni is F1 since that way we might get a whole season of Lily as Bachelorette  

Yes they are making it for regular viewers. I don't agree though that many will think Lily is F1. From what I have read on the FB page, articles where there are polls on who will be the final one etc. most people think it's Viarni as F1.

@Karina - when you were chatting to the other Mums at school pickup, you said most thought it would be V. Did they say why they thought so?

I'm not sure @bobette but I have read comments about how it's obvious Viarni is the one due to Zac and his reactions to her - that big grin for one!

@Karina - did you see the preview they just showed on TV3?

It looked darker in Viarni's shot in front of Zac.
