Ben Higgins - Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - Discussion - #8

I've said it before and I will say it again, Ben needs to find a more compatible match.  Someone who is not high maintenance, who enjoys helping on mission trips, not a big party girl, basically someone the opposite of Lauren.  In this case, opposites do not always attract.  They can initially, but in the end you need something to bond you together.  Jmho.

IMHO He was not ready for prime time. He needed more seasoning.  I wish them both well.

Didn't his ex shaelyn or whatever go to a tabloid and say Ben was not ready for marriage when he was announced bachelor? I mean this is someone who knows him better than a lot of people do, so she definitely wasn't wrong and it's evident now girls mature faster so Lauren was the one ready IMO

He shouldn't have went on the bachelor to look for her, then, IMO. I'm sure he could've found that girl from his church group, or the missionary group. Imo Ben wants it all, he Imo likes the 'party girl' and high maintenance fashion blogger, but he also wants the church girl on missionary trips. Imo he's too demanding. Lauren Imo has bent backwards to make this work, but nothing is enough for Ben. Imo he's very demanding, uncompromising and selfish as a partner. Jmo.

Back in January or Feb, on a pic Lauren posted, Ben's friend Naz commented saying she was excited for "hondo time"..few weeks later, Ben left for Honduras, while Lauren stayed in LA hanging out with Amanda, doing blog stuff, riding her rented jaguar for the week. I do think Ben is a great guy, people in Bach nation, strangers - they all say how great he is.
As for his ex, they still follow each other on IG, she likes his posts and his friends posts about him often. I don't think there's bad blood there. She follows Jojo and Kaitlyn but not Lauren AND she follows Lauren's ex, which is even more funny

Then it's a good idea that they split now. No use in dragging it on. It doesn't benefit anyone. Jmo.
