If anything, the true owner is probably just looking to capitalize on a great real estate market and unload it on someone else. It's entirely up to the new owner if they keep renting it, but I'm guessing not likely. JoJo and Jordan are at the mercy of the sale, and if the new owners want them out, out they will go. There lease stated in August though, so it's probably built into the sale that they have rights to stay until at least then. So not surprising they aren't packing yet.
I'm so curious to see if they get property in LA! Chillax. On the side. Part time. I know.
I don't think anyone's saying they'll get to live in the house indefinitely, just that it being on sale doesn't mean they'll be moving anytime soon since they're renting. If they owned it themselves, then obviously selling it would imply a move, but having rented it, it doesn't tell us anything about them or their plans. They'll probably get to live in it until their lease is over at least. JMO.

If the new owner doesn't want to rent to them then they'll move.

A friendly reminder before things go south, we do not post anything with addresses or personal info on it.

Hopefully we can now put this issue to rest as clearly ESPN themselves stated (in loose terms) that doing the Bachelorette essentially would have harmed him more than helped him in getting the position. He earned it on his own right having experience being a football player and having the gift of eloquent speech. Case closed!
I'm definitely okay with changing my stance from, ESPN was not checking for him to he was on their radar. I don't think it's necessary to exaggerate how interested ESPN was in him either:
Ash2214 wrote:@biglove44 that's factually incorrect. Per ESPN themselves, Jordan essentially had his Sec Network gig before he went on the bachelorette. They tried to convince him to not do it and they weren't thrilled that he did do it.
Boshem wrote:^ he interviewed before bachelorette, in February.
Ash2214 wrote:@bleuberry Yes, they essentially said they waited a few episodes in to make sure he didn't come off as an idiot, and then they made the official offer. It was pretty much his gig to lose from when he first interviewed before he did the show. They weren't thrilled he did it.
None of these things are true, IMO. From the senior VP's quotes, he was not interviewed before he went on the show and he did not have the gig before he went on the bachelorette. He auditioned in Charlotte after filming and did not get offered the job until the show had been on a couple weeks.

Personally I think Jordan owes a lot more of his career to his NFL brother than JoJo. No, I don't think he'd be where he is if he wasn't related to Aaron Rodgers.

Their neighborhood is very up and coming in Dallas. Many of the houses are newer/recently remodeled and that's why the cost is so high. SeanCat's old house isn't far from there and they sold for like $150k more than they brought it for after only two years.

I was responding to a couple different posts stating it would likely just be sold to another bidder who would rent and that happens all the time.
As I stated in a previous post, I'm surprised this neighborhood full of million dollar homes even allows one to be rented. I'm sure that is frowned upon.

Maybe Jo and Jo will buy the house themselves, if they wish to keep living there? I do love their house.

Well I'm sure there was a major screening process of applicants. And it's not like these are your average Joe and Jane Smoe off the street corner.

Yes. This is exactly what I was saying as well. The owner obviously has this house as a form of income. A lot of the time when home owners do that, if they sell it it's often sold to people wanting to do the same thing - own the home as an investment and rent it. It happened with my apartment. It's common, especially in major cities where you can get high rent. Regardless, if the lease is until August or next October, JoJo and Jordan get to stay there.
Okay, I swear I'm done talking about their house, the terms of the lease, reading about property records, etc.

If there was a major screening process, it may not have applied to him because he was Arodger's brother and a bachelorette contestant. Which is probably why the VP knew when he came into audition. JMO.
